“We had a fabulous experience at the west Edinburgh shooting school and will definitely be back again! Mark is a super teacher, it wasn't our first time shooting but he's taught us things previous teachers never did , he's really knowledgeable and professional . He helped us make the most of the experience and challenged us with some more difficult shots, it was a fabulous experience despite the dreich Scottish weather!”

“I enrolled as a regular student. Excellent instructors and very friendly and helpful class. Everyone is trying learn. I am glad that I found this class. Serious training with proper explanation on techniques so that we train hard and fight easy. Linn and other instructors like Peter, Judy all are very encouraging to the students to try, think and execute something different or what works better on a situation. A must try for those who wants to know about Krav maga and practice or contact the team to try for their foundation classes. "Self defense is your own responsibility".”

Having started in the 90 minute Gateway class, she is now in the main school class and has added acro and ballet into the mix there too. The encouragement from all of the teachers is wonderful, and I can't believe how much her confidence has grown. She is so excited to go every week and learn more skills. She has big ambitions to have a stage career when she's older and ASDS is the perfect place for her to learn her craft.”

“I first went to Silverhub for night classes about 8 or 9 years ago and loved the whole thing but then life got in the way. I returned earlier this year to get my skills up again. I loved Lisa's teaching so although it's over an hour travel, for me, there was no choice. I started the one year course in October which really takes things to a whole new level. The mentoring Lisa gives makes you believe you can do it and it's a really supportive environment (& you get to make fab things!)”

“I completed a month of course at Alba and I'm loving it. The environment is super friendly and the teachers are excellent. Laura, from the exchange of emails to my registration, was super attentive. Teachers use didactics according to the student and this helps a lot in learning. During the whole week they provide activities, which helps in the integration of the students. People of different nationalities in pursuit of the same goal, which is to learn a new language.”

“My little girl has just started over the last few months. She is the shyest wee girl that doesn’t ever want to leave my side and not being able to talk yet probably makes it a bit harder for her. However after about 4 weeks of her crying every time I left her, she now lets go of my hand with no issues. She comes out showing me what she’s learned each class. She spends time in between ballet and musical theatre doing the things she done there. I’ve already noticed more confidence in her in this short time. Miss Amber and the staff/girls at forefront have been amazing and their patience has put trust in me to leave her with them. I’m excited to see where her forefront journey takes her!”

“My daughter has been swimming with turtle tots since she was 4 months old. She's now 4 and a half. She has great confidence in the water and that's down to what she's been taught by the fabulous teachers she's swam with. She's had 4 different teachers and each one has been amazing. She loves all the songs they sing and how fun they make the lessons! The badges at the end of each term are a nice touch too! Turtle tot lessons are worth every single penny. Highly recommend them.”

“I have shot many weddings here and its by far one of my favourite venues! The staff are wonderful, insightful and helpful in both the run up to the wedding and on the day itself. So many fantastic spaces inside and out for different parts of the day from Queens Street Gardens for photos, confetti on the steps outside, Cullen Suite for fizz and canapes and the New Library for the ceremony and wedding breakfast, the venue is simply stunning and I highly recommend it to any couple looking for either a small, romantic and intimate wedding all the way to a full day celebration and I can't wait to return!”

“I can’t thank the medical staff and front of house staff enough. My sprocker Meg was admitted as a emergancy in August with a swollen eye with a foreign body in. Long story short it turned out to be something devastatingly worse. At just 8 years old and no prior indications or anything, her wings were ready but we were not. Meg has never been apart from us, I was worried how she would do being admitted, she was there Saturday to Monday, the staff were amazing, she wasn’t worried she wasn’t down, she maybe didn’t understand but the staff made her feel safe and cared for. The staff were so kind and caring front of house and behind the scenes. Sadly we collected Meg on Monday for one last night at home before she donned her wings with her own favourite vet. The staff kept in touch with us the whole time she was admitted, they kept us informed and kept in touch with our vet as well. We all knew what was going on at every stage. Then after they helped sort the insurance claim and kept in touch, we got a lovely card a few weeks later from the staff that cared for Meg which was beautiful. She had lovely consultants, I met Chloe (eye consultant) and Karen (general med consultant) and though I never met the nurses I heard from staff how much they loved Meg and how she greeted them happily with her “sooky” and behaved well curled on her favourite blanket. The staff here are amazing. Though Meg is no longer with us, it helped knowing they made her happy and comfortable when she was in the hospital and went fretting or worrying. The staff also made sure her “sooky” was with her at all times and her blanket stayed with her as well. Not easy in such a busy environment. The hardest place to have to go knowing what could come but the staff do all they can not just for the animals in their care but to help their humans cope and deal with whatever comes and whatever the outcome might be.”

“Great place for young males and females to play/be coached in football. Good floodlighting and artificial surfaces. Only major difficulty is very restricted off road parking. All in all a great amenity for youngsters interested in football.”
