Our 14-year-old son had an amazing experience at this golf camp. The coaches were professional, encouraging, and really helped him improve his skills while keeping the atmosphere fun and supportive. The facilities were excellent, and the program was very well organized. We would highly recommend this camp to any young golfer who wants to improve their skills in a positive, inspiring environment.

(if you really want to improve your game, this is your chance. Last year I came here with a handicap of 28, and now I'm back and started last week with a handicap of 16.) This was me from a year ago. This year I did came back, and it only gets better. I did the high performance camp, which has a 2 week structure, the first week it is training and swing focused where you really dive in to how you can get the most out of me training sessions (at the camp and at home). That is the week where your swing, short game and putting improve a lot. Which will help you a lot with the tournament focused week 2. This second week is a really cool week where you dive in to how you prepare for a tournament and how to play it to the best of your abilities. And it is not scenario based, because you will play in a real and big tournament. A nice feature of the tournament is that it is WAGR ranked. This means that the winner of the tournament on the world amateur golf rankings gets. At the moment I am a 4.2 handicap, thanks to Rick and his team. But the above is only the golf, a very important aspect for a golf camp. But there is far more to it, I have made friends for life with people from al over the world. These things are so nice to get and without the camp I would not had them. And then you have the English, as I am not from an English speaking country, I thought my English was very solid, but after being for 4 weeks at the camps my English has improved significantly. All things considered I am pretty sad that this was my last year as a pupil, because next year I will be to old. Luckily there is the opportunity to be an intern, and I will definitely be back next year.

My son is seven years old, and this was the first time he participated in an overnight-golf camp. I would like to thank Rick and his team, because my son was absolutely happy — he had a wonderful time and made great progress, of course in golf, but also personally. Unlike many other sports camps for children, this one offers truly professional and performance-oriented training, while the kids stay motivated and have fun. My son also stayed alone (without Mum) overnight at the camp for one of the two weeks — another first for him — and it went really well. The camp is well organized, and both St. Andrews and Musselburgh are nice places to stay and play golf. We‘re looking forward to next year.

It was a magical experience with full immersion in golf. The atmosphere of the camp itself, combined with being in the birthplace of golf, made it all the more special. I’m deeply grateful to Rick and his entire team for the excellent organization of the camp. Svetlana 16.07.25 Hope to see you all again soon

We absolutely love Rick Valentine Golf camps. It is the best golf camp there is in Scotland. Our son Peter has gone to the camps for the last few years and it’s the highlight of our annual holiday to Scotland. We live in Chicago. Our Son has been to the Loretto School camp just outside Edinburgh a few times and also to the St. Andrews camp last Summer. He could not believe that they had a camp in St. Andrews ... the home of golf! Our son absolutely loved it. Both camp locations were exceptional and the coaching our son received was superb. Rick Valentine has taken the time to grow his Golf School and without doubt he has succeeded in making this an amazing Golf School and wonderful experience for all junior golfers. Rick also takes time to know every golfer in his golf school and Summer camps. He makes the camp fun and exciting as well as having good, friendly competitions for all the junior golfers. Peter cannot wait for his next Rick Valentine Golf camp. Thank you to Rick Valentine and all the coaches for the amazing coaching and the excellent Golf School and we look forward to seeing you at the next camp when we are back in Scotland. Thank you! Paula (Peter’s Mum)
