“I have had 2 kite surfing lessons at Northern Kites now, having been told by Littlehampton Beach Watersports that they were a great bunch with a fabulous beach! It was definitely worth the journey to get there (great train service to Wallasey Grove Road which is really close). Everyone has been really friendly and welcoming, helping to dispel some nerves and make the whole experience very enjoyable. The kit and facilities are excellent (including helmet headsets - very useful!) and everything is very well organised, from initial booking process to beach set-up to follow-up debrief email. I've had 2 different instructors, both of whom were very encouraging, calm, enthusiastic, thorough and experienced - I felt very safe and I felt like I was getting the right amount of information and support. They really helped me to get the most out of the lessons and I will be back for more! On the first occasion I also had a trainee instructor accompanying the lesson and he was very helpful - I also chatted to another trainee instructor and feel impressed and reassured by the rigor of the instructor training and the investment in making sure new instructors are coming through of the highest quality. On a location note - I love the sand, allowing for bare feet, and the amazing views of the Welsh hills in one direction and the sculptural cranes of Bootle in the other. The Beach Club is also a great venue and I was sorry I didn't have time to stay for the evening DJ! Thanks to the whole team for making Northern Kites such a great place to learn and visit.”

Marc is an excellent tutor, he's patient, personable and funny and gives just the right help at the right moment. “I’ve been having piano lessons with Jordan at Amplified for over 3 years now and unfortunately I’m stopping as I’m moving to University- Jordan is a brilliant teacher and his passion for music is always evident, in my lessons and in what I’ve seen of group lessons too! I have become so much more confident in my own musical abilities since having lessons here and Jordan has always been happy to discuss anything musical that I have questions about. He was a great help during my music gcse and A-level courses too as his lessons have massively developed my knowledge of musical theory, periods and composition. “Little Manor has been amazing for both of my little boys (4 years and 1 year). My eldest is on the pathway for ADHD and the nursery have been so amazing with him and also supported myself. Jayne and Charlotte in particular have always strived to give my eldest the best support and are always so encouraging with him and have identified approaches to calm him down. I know how much my boys love the nursery and it is such a nice feeling knowing how happy they are and how much they adore the staff. My youngest is in the baby room and Lorraine has been amazing with him - he absolutely adores her and I feel so content leaving him there and have done since day one as Lorraine was incredible with Mason. Overall, the nursery is brilliant, great range of food for the children and so many fun activities. The staff also take a huge interest in what the children are interested in and tailor activities to suit. Thanks so much to everyone at little manor xx”

“Rachel welcomed me and my girls to Toddlersense with open arms. We hadn’t really done much in the way of classes but our Tuesday mornings with Rach became our little routine and helped both me and them become more confident. I connected with other mums and the girls got to sing, dance and play no matter what the weather was like. It was amazing to see how they developed their skills over each term, I think it really helped prepare them for nursery, and I was always in awe of how Rachel facilitated the class and kept the attention of so many little ones! They receive excellent dance training and lots of other opportunities too including photo shoots, exams, dance competitions and the fabulous annual show. The school is an inclusive, nurturing environment and has a real family feel to it. I would highly recommend it.”

Becky the dental hygienist is really patient with me. Dan and Jason have done some amazing work with my teeth and again have been extremely patient with me. Although I will never be the greatest fan of dental work, it is a pleasure getting treatment at Azure Dental. I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone.”

“Yesterday I had my first ever pedicure, (male) I was encouraged by my partner to go and have one, due to years of playing rugby and running/hiking, my feet have taken a bit of a hammering. I was seen by Casey, she was brilliant, made me feel at ease, with being a man these things can actually be daunting, going to a salon to have a treatment like this, we believe it’s for women only, but the experience was actually great, very relaxing and Casey did a great job, I’ve even booked back in for a couple of months, thank you so much, and Thankyou for the coffee, fantastic service. “Having been to 2 previous schools, I am very happy I found merseyflight to complete my PPL with, Merseyflight is a very warm welcoming school with amazing friendly staff, the professionalism shown here is second to non, very organised and in depth with teaching, they genuinely want their students to progress, my instructor Lewis Davies is a fantastic instructor and I highly recommend him from ground school to flying lessons, I can only imagine the other instructor’s are the same as well! I will always recommend this school to anyone who is interested in learning how to fly. 10/10”

“Adding this review after a couple of months experience with Willowdene. I have an allergy baby who hadn’t been away from me at all before bringing him here. Dawn and the team have created such a welcoming and nurturing environment, that even my clingy baby loves his time with them. They give consistent updates about the food the babies have eaten, nappies and activities through their app- which has definitely helped put this anxious mum at ease. They get to know the babies as if they are their own and cannot do enough to help, whether that’s to give you advice on nappy creams, to taking 10+ calls a day to let me know he is ok (as it was in the beginning). Their in house chef cooks amazing meals introducing the babies to lots of foods that they otherwise might not see. The whole team are excellent about his allergies, his food is labelled, on a different coloured plate and kept completely separate from the other children’s. He never goes without and has free from additions to his food or alternatives so that he isn’t left out. Could not recommend them more highly, especially when I have friends paying more in other nurseries and getting a considerably lower standard of care.”
