“I have had 2 kite surfing lessons at Northern Kites now, having been told by Littlehampton Beach Watersports that they were a great bunch with a fabulous beach! It was definitely worth the journey to get there (great train service to Wallasey Grove Road which is really close). Everyone has been really friendly and welcoming, helping to dispel some nerves and make the whole experience very enjoyable. The kit and facilities are excellent (including helmet headsets - very useful!) and everything is very well organised, from initial booking process to beach set-up to follow-up debrief email. I've had 2 different instructors, both of whom were very encouraging, calm, enthusiastic, thorough and experienced - I felt very safe and I felt like I was getting the right amount of information and support. They really helped me to get the most out of the lessons and I will be back for more! On the first occasion I also had a trainee instructor accompanying the lesson and he was very helpful - I also chatted to another trainee instructor and feel impressed and reassured by the rigor of the instructor training and the investment in making sure new instructors are coming through of the highest quality. On a location note - I love the sand, allowing for bare feet, and the amazing views of the Welsh hills in one direction and the sculptural cranes of Bootle in the other. The Beach Club is also a great venue and I was sorry I didn't have time to stay for the evening DJ! Thanks to the whole team for making Northern Kites such a great place to learn and visit.”

The staff were absolutely fantastic, attentive, friendly, and made everything run seamlessly from start to finish. The room itself was delightful—stylish, comfortable, and perfect for our celebration. All I did was add balloons! It looked fantastic! The food was amazing, full of flavour, delicious! Lisa went above and beyond to make sure every little detail was taken care of! It truly felt effortless, and I can say with confidence that I’d 100% recommend this venue to anyone looking to host a private party without a single worry. A huge thank you!”

“Came in on Saturday and only waited less then 5 minutes to be served the woman was lovely I didn’t have a clue what size my daughter was in clothes as they go off inches and she straight away new what size she would be in I was in and out within 20 minutes so if you don’t want queue up outside of slaters for hours then make you’re way here there super quick and friendly”

“This place has had renovations done and keeps on improving all the time. They have sho many activities for the kids in the local area. The staff are friendly polite and helpful. It's a great size to hire for a party with a kitchen to prep your own food.”

“First time I've been in here unfortunately at a funeral never been in before but would recommend it as somewhere to go if you are a couple single or a person who wants to play pub games ie darts pool snooker or bowls wish the club was near me .If you are a real ale drinker try the Wainwrights probably the best I've ever had it was poured like a Guinness absolutely beautiful”

“The sport centre is massive, hard to find if you haven't been there before. Me and my son went to the Wigan comiCON,and it was brilliant,packed and full of stales selling film props to comics to all kinds of great geeky stuff . Some celebrities there, looked like they had better things to do , and there attitudes showed. But other than that , recommend highly 1st time there ,will definitely be going back”
