   A 'real' community sports club. I've been playing squash at Wigan Sports Club for some time now and it's a really welcoming place for meeting people and keeping fit. . The club has 4 squash courts in addition to the cricket club, hockey, and AstroTurf facilities. . If you're interested in finding new ways to stay active and you haven't tried squash before there are regular taster sessions and beginner classes. All priced at £5 for 1 hour, which represents really good value for money. No equipment required either as rackets and balls are provided. . The clubhouse offers a decent range of drinks and is really family friendly and welcoming. . Wigan sports club is easily accessible from the town centre and is situated next to Mesnes Park. The club also benefits from plenty of free parking. . Come down and give it a go
