“After experiencing a long-term and extremely challenging bout of Covid-like symptoms last year, I was left feeling 'out of sorts' for months. Following several visits to the doctors in an attempt to address these persistent symptoms (tiredness, exhaustion, headaches, brain fog, ear/nose/sinus issues, muscle/joint pain etc.) to no avail, a friend recommended that I should go and see an Osteopath. This recommendation turned out to be fantastic, and after only a few sessions with Li I started to feel instantly better. I went with very little expectation, but through a combination of different therapies (including craniosacral), it somehow did the trick. I am now completely recovered, but intend to continue visiting Li and BTST on a regular basis as the service is so excellent. “Freddie started here last April 2024 when he was two for 15 hours a week. The staff have been incredible, all so loving and patient with him, this allowed Freddie to feel more safe and secure away from me. At the beginning Freddie struggled to settle but after just a few sessions he was a completely different little boy. I can't thank this nursery enough, i couldn't see him settling and being happy away from me but the staff here changed this for me. They always keep me updated with photos and videos to let me know he is okay. They have always been so thoughtful and accommodating, choosing certain activities which they know Freddie enjoys so that he feels included and enjoys his self more easily. Freddie now goes for 30 hours per week and he absolutely loves coming to nursery. He loves learning, drawing, playing outside, going for outings in the park and singing songs. The change in Freddie has been unbelievable since starting here, he has come on in leaps and bounds, a lot more confident within his self and also with his speech. I love picking him up, seeing his smiley face and hearing all about his day. Management/staff are always so friendly and whenever you have a question or worry they are always there to help you and reassure you. Definitely recommend victoria park hall day nursery to other parents/families x”

“Our Son has been going to Louise's Swim School since he was a baby, he is now 3. He absolutely loves being in the pool. The lessons are small groups which means there's more focus on your little ones. Lovely location and the pool is also 5*. Finally, Louise is a fantastic instructor, we wouldn't go anywhere else. Our Son loves his Thursday swimming lessons. Highly recommend”

He enjoys every lesson and Paul is a super instructor, always making every lesson fun but still keeping the students on task. I would recommend 5 rings to anyone wishing to give Jiu Jitsu a try. “We have tried a few different places for swim lessons for my 4 year old son, who can become overwhelmed in noisy group environments. He can struggle sometimes with staying on task too. This place is perfect, everyone is so welcoming and professional. Every minute of the lesson is focused on the child and the lesson is adapted as required to keep it fun and interesting. My son has been taught by Debbie and Janet, both are so patient and nurturing. It’s clear to see they really enjoy what they do. “This is a wonderful small infant school which has exceptionally caring and supportive staff who provide excellent learning opportunities for all children. The communication and support during the Covid pandemic has been very good. We have felt well supported at home with all the resources we need. There is lots of outdoor space, a new outdoor climbing area and plenty of learning resources. Both my sons are here in Y1 and Y2 and they are happy, confident and always look forward to attending. Any queries have always had swift responses and we feel very fortunate to be part of a lovely group of children and parents. We would highly recommend this school.”

I was feeling a little nervous, unsure of what to expect, but that all went away! I must admit, I'm a bit of an awkward person but the instructor was fantastic. Everyone was wonderful. They created a really supportive and encouraging atmosphere. I would highly recommend this self-defense class to anyone, regardless of their age, gender, or fitness level... “I’ve been going to villa mar on and off for the past 18 years, so you might say I enjoy my time there. I started around the age of 10 after I sold my first pony to give me some more confidence with horses and because I just loved being around them. I’ve had two of my own horses there and I wouldn’t go anywhere else now. It’s one of the nicest yards I’ve ever been too, not like a lot of riding schools, it really does feel like one big family. “Great for children's swimming. Sally is a fantastic and enthusiastic swimming teacher. My 2 year old absolutely loves swimming here. I would love to see more parent and child changing cubicles in the future as it's a bit cramped getting dressed if they are already in use.”
