“My son has been at AppleTree Nursery for two years since he was 1 year old and he loves it there. It is a small environment where each child can be monitored and it known individually. although large enough to enable friendships and social interactions. The large garden allows for lots of exploration and fun in all seasons and the rabbits and chickens keep the children entertained. The staff are all lovely and caring and warm.”

“I have endless amazing things to say about this nursery! My little one had been in nursery from a year old but had reached a point where she was no longer happy and really did not enjoy going in. We moved her to Apple tree Montessori nursery and the change was instant! She LOVES it here! She hops in and barely bothers to say goodbye! I ask her about her day and she has a list of things to tell me, and the feedback from all the staff is amazing. They take the time to get to know the children so well. I really feel they enjoy the time spent with my little one rather then it being ‘just a job’. My daughters confidence is amazing since starting here as well and she has come along leaps and bounds, even with her appetite which we had struggled with previously. I would recommend this nursery to EVERYONE! I love it, and it makes me happy to see my daughter so happy and safe when she’s not with me. Thank you Montessori staff for being wonderful!”

“My son has been attending the nursery for around 6 months now - in this short time we can already see the positive impact the nursery is having on his confidence, motor skills and early education. The nursery itself is in a great setting within the park and a 5 minute walk from the beach/library, all which the children visit regularly. Pictures are sent throughout the day via WhatsApp which is a lovely personal and reassuring touch! The staff are all so friendly and attentive on pick ups & drop offs nothing is too much trouble for them. Overall, a big thanks Brodie, charley & team for giving my little one the best start into his education :)”

“Simply an outstanding nursery. Smaller class size and attentitive, well experienced staff who clearly enjoy working together and with the children. My little boy has grown in confidence since his time with Apple Tree and has made some lovely friends. Such a unique setting with plenty of outdoor activities, regardless of the weather. The staff are very supportive, and because of the high ratio of teachers to children they have the time to provide quality care. Highly recommended.”

The gym has very high level guys and regardless you are beginner or advance you will have great training here. I highly recommend this place to train! I've trained a many BJJ gyms around the world and Grand Union Brighton is certainly world class. Cesar and Mario are expert coaches at the highest level who make sure training is fun, safe, challenging and rewarding. There is a great mix of levels and styles in the people who train there but there is a consistent culture of respect, friendship and mutual progression. Very highly recommended for beginners and experts alike.”

As it is ideal for those who want to improve their English and enjoy reading and talking about books in a relaxed atmosphere. You can choose from books ranging from classic novels to current bestsellers at different levels of English. In weekly meetings you talk about the chapters you had to read „for homework“… always guided and supported by a very competent teacher. What is more, you get to know book lovers from all over Europe, which makes talking about books even more interesting.”

After an initial bit of anxiety my daughter had the most amazing week of swimming taught by Lorraine. Her confidence has grown massively and she was even jumping in without her goggles. “Both of my sons attended Robins after a recommendation from a good friend and my younger son is about to finish nursery and start school this September. My children both loved their time at Robins. It's a lovely cosy, intimate nursery, full of fun and laughter, home away from home. Each member of staff really get to know each child properly and form strong and secure relationships with them. They have created a such a lovely nurturing and supportive environment, where the children can grow as individuals. In the children's final year at nursery Robins, the staff are great at preparing the children for school. Not just things like being able to write their names but the really important things like the coping skill to deal with a new environment and the ability to deal with different expectations that school has of children. Robins don't just care for the children but the whole family. We've loved Robins and will greatly miss it!”

“I joined when I was 16 and since then I've kept going. I go even when I'm not initially in the mood because I know I will end up enjoying it even on a bad day. The class presents a good physical challenge and it has made me much stronger, faster and more flexible. Also it's very fun to get beaten up by black belts! The people who go are all very nice and great to hang out with. The instructor Mr Mayes is very professional and experienced. Definitely the best martial arts class in Brighton. Additionally, now I can also walk on rocks because my feet have become a lot harder. One of the best ways to do fitness and way more fun than going to the gym. 100% recommended.”

“Great kite surf school, had a lesson yesterday with Stephen, who was extremely patient and helpful. Even went on abit longer to ensure that I had a successful launch for a confidence boost. Hopefully will only need one more lesson, will be coming back when the wind is good!”

“I’ve had a couple of lessons as I’ve been away from the sport for a few years. The first was with Christine on a light wind day but was still really useful as she gave me some great tips on keeping the kite flying and also showed me the self rescue which I used the following week! My second lesson was with David on a much windier day. Again, I was given loads of really useful tips which gave me a really marked progression over the 2 hours spent together. Money very well spent!”

At her previous pre school she really struggled with socialising, crying at drop off etc, one month here and she runs in, can tell me all her friends names, staff names and animals.
