“My son has been attending the nursery for around 6 months now - in this short time we can already see the positive impact the nursery is having on his confidence, motor skills and early education. The nursery itself is in a great setting within the park and a 5 minute walk from the beach/library, all which the children visit regularly. Pictures are sent throughout the day via WhatsApp which is a lovely personal and reassuring touch! The staff are all so friendly and attentive on pick ups & drop offs nothing is too much trouble for them. I've trained a many BJJ gyms around the world and Grand Union Brighton is certainly world class. Cesar and Mario are expert coaches at the highest level who make sure training is fun, safe, challenging and rewarding. There is a great mix of levels and styles in the people who train there but there is a consistent culture of respect, friendship and mutual progression. Very highly recommended for beginners and experts alike.”

“Joining a course at the Book Club School was a brillant idea of mine . Why? As it is ideal for those who want to improve their English and enjoy reading and talking about books in a relaxed atmosphere. You can choose from books ranging from classic novels to current bestsellers at different levels of English. In weekly meetings you talk about the chapters you had to read „for homework“… always guided and supported by a very competent teacher. What is more, you get to know book lovers from all over Europe, which makes talking about books even more interesting.”

“I joined when I was 16 and since then I've kept going. I go even when I'm not initially in the mood because I know I will end up enjoying it even on a bad day. The class presents a good physical challenge and it has made me much stronger, faster and more flexible. Also it's very fun to get beaten up by black belts! The people who go are all very nice and great to hang out with. The instructor Mr Mayes is very professional and experienced. Definitely the best martial arts class in Brighton. Additionally, now I can also walk on rocks because my feet have become a lot harder. One of the best ways to do fitness and way more fun than going to the gym. 100% recommended.”

“Completed my RYA 1&2 with Brighton Watersports. The instructors were great - patient, competent and thorough. Doing the training in fresh water at Piddinghoe is perfect for beginners as there's no tide to worry about and club house provides a warm refuge if you fall in.”

“I’ve had a couple of lessons as I’ve been away from the sport for a few years. The first was with Christine on a light wind day but was still really useful as she gave me some great tips on keeping the kite flying and also showed me the self rescue which I used the following week! My second lesson was with David on a much windier day. Again, I was given loads of really useful tips which gave me a really marked progression over the 2 hours spent together. Money very well spent!”

“Our daughter has just completed Year 7 in Burgess Hill Girls and she has loved every minute of it. The school environment is nurturing and positive and over the last year we have seen her grow in confidence and become more independent. The support from teachers and staff is amazing and the children benefit from smaller class sizes and a wide range of subjects taught in an engaging manner. She has developed strong friendship groups with other pupils from her classes but also from across the school. She often tells us how much she loves being here and has even mentioned missing school over the summer holidays. A lovely school, highly recommended!”

“Great climbing gym. The staff are lovely and the facilities are good. It is different from Boulder Brighton. Id say the training area is better. The bouldering has improved since the change of ownership and is now worth a trip for every reset. The new board is also very nice.”

“Great way to spend an hour or two. We were a stag group of 12, and I only spoke to really helpful people both during the planning of it, and on the day itself. Really enthusiastic and helpful customer service, and the course itself is really well kept (if not challenging on a couple of holes). Cracking views on some of the holes were a nice surprise too.
