   I waited a few years to write this review as I genuinely felt bad giving honest feedback that would be perceived as somewhat negative, I saw how many wonderful reviews and comments and just didn’t feel I should lower the tone but at the same time none of them aligned to our experience so felt maybe this feedback might bring a different perspective and food for thought. My daughter went for about 5 months or so, she was 3-3.5 during her time here and we don’t feel she really learned much, appreciate she was a young age but she had 30 mins lesson each week for that duration, wore arm bands consistently and our main reason for swimming was for her to learn water safety, what to do if submerged into water and how to manage safely and of course how to learn to swim. A lot of her lessons because she was the only 1 in her group or 1 of 2 , I found her instructor was primarily holding her hands and bringing her around whilst asking her to kick her legs and quite often having chats with staff walking around, there were times I saw her just standing bouncing around in the water whilst staff were talking and I just didn’t feel it was engaging enough for her, we weren’t getting what we wanted for £55 (then increased to £58 a month) which works out almost £15 per 30 minute lesson a week. She eventually didn’t want to come and we walked away feeling disappointed, money gone to waste, she was no better off after 5 months of lessons and no water safety learned , as previously outlined arm bands were constant. I appreciate staff are lovely and that parents feel compelled to write lovely reviews and big up the company but this can’t be an isolated experience. Unfortunately this wasn’t the introduction to swimming we had hoped for , for our child.

   Seriously Fun have been amazing - in just a few lessons they have got my daughter back loving the water after an awful experience at a different swim school. The staff are all so lovely and you can see the kids in class having a great time each week.

   My Daughter started her swimming lessons 6 weeks ago and is so much more confident in the water. She is progressing very nicely and really enjoys her sessions. Her instructor has been absolutely brilliant in making her feel comfortable. It really is so nice to see how well she’s doing. Can’t wait for the progress to continue!

   My son and daughter have been attending for around 3 years, and my son had never been in a swimming pool when he started due to COVID. Their teachers have been brilliant and in that time they’ve moved up classes three times. They love Martine who is kind and supportive, but pushes them to go that little bit extra.

   My daughter started lessons in January and is loving it. She had been so nervous about swimming and hated getting her face wet. Now just a couple of months later she is so confident. Happily goes under water and is learning to swim really well. The teachers are wonderful and I couldn’t recommend them more. My daughter loves them and is so excited to go each week.

   Lovely team who were all very patient with my little boy who was scared to get in the water. They took the time and helped him join in. From the teachers to the management team i really cannot fault them! Really great experience!

   My daughters have been at seriously fun swimming for a year now and they have come on leaps and bounds! Jules and the teachers at lancing at so lovely and update you the progress, they so patient and make it fun!

   It was my daughter's first lesson at 3.5 years old . The instructors were amazing with her as she was a little frightened being her first time . I cant thank the team there enough as she now is super excited for her next lesson.

   Having seriously fun swimming lessons at the Globe Primary Academy in the heart of Lancing is the best thing. The school is about 10 minutes walk from the Lancing train station for anyone who doesn't drive. Though I live only 30 seconds away but having to travel for swimming lessons for my children in the past I can imagine the frustrations for some parents. On to the lessons: my children love every single lessons. My youngest who is 3 years old talks about her swimming as they make it enjoyable. My two boys who are both from the Globe have found the lessons with Seriously Fun fun as they placed it accordingly to the students ability to swim focusing on techniques which is important. The swimming pool is a perfect depth for new swimmers specially for the younger one's like 2 year olds and above. Plenty of parking in the vicinity and even having the lessons in the morning, the beach is not to far for a day out. The location is the best of everything in my opinion. Overall I highly recommend Seriously Fun and hopefully people in the area will take this opportunity on having swimming lessons for their children.
