Their teachers have been brilliant and in that time they’ve moved up classes three times. They love Martine who is kind and supportive, but pushes them to go that little bit extra.”

“Great kite surf school, had a lesson yesterday with Stephen, who was extremely patient and helpful. Even went on abit longer to ensure that I had a successful launch for a confidence boost. Hopefully will only need one more lesson, will be coming back when the wind is good!”

“My daughter has just finished dancing at Brooks aged 18. She has absolutely loved her time at Brooks and will really miss the classes and all her friends. There is a wide variety of styles available and all are taught at a very high standard.The competition team are outstanding and the training the team are given really shows at every competition . We have throughly enjoyed being a part of this. Dance has been a massive part of her life and thanks to dedicated and professional teaching my daughter is now able to continue dancing at a dance college for the next three years. I would recommend this dance school 100%”

“Nick is a friendly and professional driving instructor who has a wealth of knowledge and experience to share with pupils. Coming back to driving as an older student (after failing my practical test 3 times over a decade ago) was daunting. Nick patiently helped me to work on all aspects on my driving and quickly identified the areas that needed the most work (as well as the sources of the most trepidation) and helped me to work through them. I passed my test at the beginning of this month and once the realisation sinks in, it feels amazing. I can’t recommend Nick highly enough, a great instructor and a top gent.”

“I have three children at this school from nursery to year 4. They moved from a local school where I couldn't see them progressing in the way that I knew they were capable. They are all enjoying Sompting Abbotts as they are doing fun science experiments, lots of sports activities and making dens in the grounds with their friends. I particularly like how well the teachers all know my children and they have been able to adapt the teaching methods to suit their own learning style. My children are very proud of their school and I feel that Sompting Abbotts brings out the best in them.”

“Choosing a nursery is one of the hardest decisions when becoming a parent. It’s made more difficult by the fact we have to do so when our children are weeks old, or when we’re pregnant. Lancing Day Nursery has been such a wonderful decision! They care so much about the children. I’m always surprised when staff from the older rooms know our child’s name. That kind of attention is incredibly reassuring. Seeing our child’s baby snug staff so excited when he’s progressed well with settling, or done something funny lights us up, and we know he’s being well taken care of. The end of day handover updates are also super detailed. Thank you Catherine, Rachel, Chelsea and Charlotte! (Sorry if I’ve forgotten any names!) In addition to this, the food is absolutely amazing and the children all love the chef, George. When we first looked around, I was unsure at first by the fact there is only one room in the baby snug. But actually, this has been something we really like. It offers an area that can be more focused to play and activities, the children are able to interact more easily, and they have direct access to their own sheltered, outside area. I don’t think this would have been the same in other facilities we looked at where there are multiple rooms in a house style setting. Something we’ve also noticed is the community feel. We’ve encountered really friendly parents at pick up/drop off and everyone seems so happy with the care provided. Another bonus is that the nursery is located inside the Family Centre so there is no waiting outside in the cold/rain! I’d really encourage anyone in the local area to consider Lancing Day Nursery - it’s been so great for us!”

“I had my nails , hair and makeup done by Kate and her colleagues before and on my wedding day. They are very friendly and professional and did a very good job with everything. My hair looked as I wanted, I went for a over the head braid and half down hair. My makeup was natural and stayed on all day until I removed it. They offered a trial for hair and makeup before the wedding and I was happy with all the service. Thank you so much girls! I recommend!”
