My son started BJJ a few weeks ago and he loves it so much. Ivam is an amazing coach, not only teaching the techniques but all the real martial art essence, creating an incredible atmosphere between the children, with the older ones always being helpful with young ones, in a true sense of community.

I have been wanting to start jiu-jitsu for a while now and finally took the first steps and honestly its been one of the best experiences , im getting my butt kicked , but learning so much at the same time , its helping me grow being under pressure .and being part of something bigger, meeting like minded guys . This place is brilliant! If you want to learn BJJ in a great environment, with the best guidance, then this place is the one of you. Ivam and his team are extremely knowledgeable and have such a passion for the art, yet they teach with clarity and patience - this sort of environment can only foster development in your training. The facilities are brilliant, extremely practical and clean, as well as being aesthetically pleasing. Feels like a very cool place to train! Also, due to the welcoming atmosphere that Ivam has created, everyone I've met so far has been extremely friendly and patient, which makes being a beginner that much better. You can tell everyone loves BJJ so wants to share their knowledge and encourage others. There is very little ego, it feels like everyone shares in each others successes. What a place! Thanks Ivam!

One Jiu-Jitsu offers an excellent facility for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, with a Gi and No-Gi timetable. The school is bright, clean and well maintained. I attended the school as a guest whilst visiting Brighton for a weekend break. In the first instance, communication regarding attendance was clear and the tone was warm and welcoming. Coach Ivam is a humble host and he and his students ensured that I felt at home during the class. Coach is a master of his craft and the structure of the training was a great mix for a broad range of ability (white to black belt). I would highly recommend One Jiu-Jitsu to anybody travelling to the Brighton and Hove area as a home from home for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Obrigado, Coach - see you next time.
