“Our daughter has spent over 2 years at Treehoppers in Borde Hill and I can’t think of a more magical way to spend your early years. The camp is beautiful and it’s been lovely to see it change through the seasons and offer different activities from growing vegetables in spring to fun in the snow in winter. The team are amazing-so creative, kind and adventurous. Activities are imaginative and playful and have really engaged our daughter. She particularly enjoyed the campfire cooking, storytelling, making objects with tools and all the natural crafts. The community is wonderful too. We have all made some special friends. “The nursery has been a godsend for us. My son looks forward to going there and the management team particularly Tracey(SENCO) and Mirella are nothing but supportive and comitted to inclusivity. The nursery is down to earth and staff are dedicated. They have a large garden and sensory room. The staffing seems consistent. I can't thank them enough. I highly recommend, especially if your child has SEND.”

Wriggly and Rob have been such nurturing and fabulous key staff to D, he loves them completely. It's going to be so hard to move on, what can compare to Bees. I am so glad that there’s holiday club so we will get to see you all again. “We couldn't ask for a better start to our daughter's life than Young Friends nursery. The space itself, with the sanctuary of a garden, rabbits and the kitchen garden; the nursery's ethos with regards to the recycled materials they use for play, communal cooking and a deep love and respect for nature, gives the children an invaluable grounding in the true values in life. We cannot begin to describe the nurturing support the staff have given our daughter and us as a family, which has enabled her to truly flourish as a person. The staff have been an inspiration, going above and beyond what we could ever imagine a nursery could be. Thank you thank you thank you.”

“We had a wonderful experience with this nursery. My little son started in the Robins room, when he was two, and then moved to the Swallow when he turned three. In both cases, he had really enjoyed his time there. The nursery offers a very friendly, warm and welcoming atmosphere, and a rich variety of stimulating activities for the children. The staff are highly qualified and genuinely care about the children. In fact, I cannot speak highly enough of the nursery staff that my son had while he was with the Swallow. They have been amazing under so many aspects, and I could see that he developed a real bond with them: they really were like a second family to him. My little boy really flourished during his time there, and I was particularly impressed by the way how the practitioners got to know each child very well, and were genuinely caring and enjoying about their progresses”

“My son has been attending the nursery for around 6 months now - in this short time we can already see the positive impact the nursery is having on his confidence, motor skills and early education. The nursery itself is in a great setting within the park and a 5 minute walk from the beach/library, all which the children visit regularly. Pictures are sent throughout the day via WhatsApp which is a lovely personal and reassuring touch! The staff are all so friendly and attentive on pick ups & drop offs nothing is too much trouble for them. Overall, a big thanks Brodie, charley & team for giving my little one the best start into his education :)”

“Simply an outstanding nursery. Smaller class size and attentitive, well experienced staff who clearly enjoy working together and with the children. My little boy has grown in confidence since his time with Apple Tree and has made some lovely friends. Such a unique setting with plenty of outdoor activities, regardless of the weather. The staff are very supportive, and because of the high ratio of teachers to children they have the time to provide quality care. Highly recommended.”

“I have endless amazing things to say about this nursery! My little one had been in nursery from a year old but had reached a point where she was no longer happy and really did not enjoy going in. We moved her to Apple tree Montessori nursery and the change was instant! She LOVES it here! She hops in and barely bothers to say goodbye! I ask her about her day and she has a list of things to tell me, and the feedback from all the staff is amazing. They take the time to get to know the children so well. I really feel they enjoy the time spent with my little one rather then it being ‘just a job’. My daughters confidence is amazing since starting here as well and she has come along leaps and bounds, even with her appetite which we had struggled with previously. I would recommend this nursery to EVERYONE! I love it, and it makes me happy to see my daughter so happy and safe when she’s not with me. Thank you Montessori staff for being wonderful!”

“I can't recommend Wrap nursery enough. Our little one started at 9 months and are just about to "graduate" - we will all miss Wrap a lot. It was a challenge to find a nursery that I felt comfortable with, but the staff and management at Wrap has made the last 4 years childcare easy and worry-free. It is not the closest nursery to our house, but even when me moved out of the city we decided to stay with Wrap as our child has been very happy there and always excited to go in the mornings. We even returned full time after trying a (big chain) nursery closer to home of a few months and also after were out of the country for for two months. Wrap has always been supportive and flexible - they have been able to accommodate us for extra days (even last minute). The staff has been wonderful and know our child well. The have supported us through the tricky toilet training days (thank you Hannah!) and Mia's presence through the years from the baby to the pre-school room has been very comforting for all of us. Wrap, for us, has been brilliant, a really caring nursery, with diversity, creativity and respect for all. We wish we could stay...”

“Could not recommend this nursery more. My daughter can be quite needy and clingy and I was so worried about her never settling at nursery, but the incredible staff at the Whiteway centre have been so patient and caring with her that she settled so much quicker than I could have ever hoped for. The team there are amazing and the communication is excellent. I am so pleased with the progress she has made since starting there a few months ago and I know she will continue to thrive there. “Our daughter has been going to JLHCC since January just after she turned 11months. I was really stressed about leaving her and going back to work but Katie and the team made this transition so unbelievably smooth and easy! My daughter always goes in with a smile on her face, never cried while going in which is so reassuring. She is so well looked after and loves Katie and Emma in particular (keeps saying their names recently a lot). I feel like it is truly the best choice for us and I can’t imagine our daughter going anywhere else.”

“The best nursery in BN2! Wise owls is more than a nursery, it's a second family. The ethos of the nursery is so warm, nurturing and fun. I've never had a day of doubt about how they look after my child and she's always super excited to go, especially after a weekend away. Food is super nutritious and delicious, she always seems to have seconds or thirds! We are pretty sure wise owls are equally responsible for our daughter turning out so lovely, polite and funny and we have no doubts about sending our son there soon!”

“New View is a wonderful nursery with a team of lovely ladies. They offer so much support and love to each individual child helping them grow and learn. We have been lucky to have their support throughout our daughter’s early educational journey from 2022 - 2024. The sessions they offer allow the children to be creative, develop reading skills and learn phonics. Our daughter’s favourite was forest school where they explore New Views fantastic wooded area and learn about the great outdoors. We have also been able to connect with that journey through their informative app, tracking key stages along the way with descriptions of their observations and photographs. New view owner Sharon ensures that the nursery is organised and safe. She had created an environment that incorporates both learning and fun. Her care for the children and passion for her role in their future is evident, reflected by the nursery’s fantastic Ofsted results.”

“Our son has had a great time at Woodpeckers. They have a lot of space indoors and outdoors, as it's attached to the school and used to be the infant area. It's also particularly good if you want your child to go to the attached primary school, so that they'll already know a good amount of kids and the area in general. Absolutely no regrets! They also send regular photos and updates, so you know what's going on.”
