My grandaughter has been attending St John’s Preschool the past year. It is such a lovely, welcoming group. Every staff member engages beautifully with the children. We have watched our grandaughter grow in confidence, she happily skips into her sessions every week. Highly recommended.
We were so impressed with the level of care and attention our son received during his 2 years at St John’s Preschool. He was given great support and learnt many skills needed before transitioning to Primary school. The staff have an incredible bond with the children and this really helps to provide a lovely environment for them to learn and grow. I will forever recommend this amazing preschool setting.
St John’s Preschool is absolutely fantastic! Our daughter loves going each day—she walks in with the biggest smile and is making some wonderful friendships. The staff are incredible, always creating engaging activities and encouraging plenty of outdoor play and learning. Our older daughter attends St John’s Primary School just down the road. While the preschool and primary aren’t officially linked, there’s a lovely sense of continuity, as many children move on from one to the other. We couldn’t be happier with our experience and highly recommend St John’s Preschool!
We believe St John’s Preschool is absolutely wonderful. Our youngest daughter attends 3 days a week and is flourishing there, making so many lovely friends and learning really well through creative fun and play. The staff are exceptional, we really feel like they know and care for our daughter and she absolutely loves going to preschool. The facilities include a woodland outdoor area, private paddock and use of the church hall as well as the preschool itself. We cannot recommend this preschool facility enough.
My youngest is very very happy there. The staff are great, and pay close attention to the individual needs of each child.
My son has been coming to the Pre School since April 2015 and always has so much fun. The staff are all very caring and there is a lovely atmosphere at drop off and pick up. He cannot wait for his next session and talks so enthusiastically about what he has been doing and the friends he's been playing with. A highly recommended Pre School in a lovely setting on the edge of the Ashdown Forest.
My 3 year old son cannot get enough of st. John's preschool, he absolutely loves every minute he is there. A fabulous supportive, creative, imaginative and lovely staff make everyday a fun learning experience for all the children. Using both outdoor and indoor play they understand fully each child's needs and taylor individual learning journeys to suit. Indoors is a bit of a Tardis, it seems small but it is a treasure chest full of discovery for the children. Outdoors is a wonderful, engaging and safe environment and I love that my son always comes home smelling of fresh air and often covered in mud! Situated in the beautiful Ashdown Forest also gives a fantastic opportunity for group walks, explorations and adventures (all supervised of course!). Another plus point is that they used Tapestry, an online learning journal, which is brilliant and keeps you up-to-date daily via photos and observations of what your child has been up to, which is all linked back to the EYFS developmental stages to assess how your child is progressing. A great way to share your child's experiences at preschool on a real-time basis! My son and I honestly can't recommend st. john's enough!
Brilliant pre-school - my children were so happy here! The kindest staff combined with a magical setting meant that both my children were so happy attending here! I can't praise and recommend it enough.
