“My daughter loves the classes, and it has been brilliant to see her gain confidence, particularly with motor and social skills. The team are fantastic; always super helpful, and have built a lovely community. Thank you!”
“We feel so lucky with our choice of Tall Trees. Our daughter settled very quickly and the staff have always filled us with great confidence of the quality of care they provide. It’s lovely hearing our daughter tell us all about the fun she’s had and the yummy food too. Highly recommend if you’re looking for childcare in Frome.”
“This is a lovely school, with wonderful long standing teachers who are dedicated to delivering a Steiner curriculum in a close nurturing environment. Three of my children have attended here and have been very happy and well educated. Two of my other children have been to 'outstanding 'ofsted graded mainstream schools and their handwriting and their depth of understanding of subject matters have never been as great as my children who attended Bristol Steiner school.”
“My son first started nursery at Bristol Montessori and when he left he didn't speak any English. The teachers were very attentive to everything and within 8 months he was understanding and able to communicate with most English speakers. He has also made tremendous progress in his socialization. Even though my son's nursery is over, he still wants to go there. I'm glad we sent it here. I definitely recommend it. Thank you so much for everything.”
“Really great forest school with varied activities and different cooked snacks each week. Will is friendly and engaging with the children. Definitely recommend”
“What a fantastic setting for children to learn and play. Staff are very friendly and the children love the Dairy farm. Highly recommend Buttercups!”
“My son attended here and the service was the best I could ever have hoped for. Having a nursery you can trust makes it that bit easier returning to work. All staff seemed to know my son well whether they are working directly in his group or not. Such a friendly and happy environment.”
“Absolutely love this place. The settling in process was really supported and gentle. The teachers are wonderfully in tune with each child, and provide a creative and engaging learning experience. My daughter has flourished there.”
“The next generation of Full Court Press owners have been very well cared for here!”
“Really fantastic kindergarten nursery. Children are allowed to be wild and get dirty. My daughter has learnt so much about wildlife and her surroundings. She comes home tired out and extremely happy after a day in the woods.”
“My son has just completed a wonderful 9 months at Forest School. There really doesn’t seem to be any place that he’s happier. The environment is perfect for him (he’s an outdoor kid) but he has learnt so much and grown more confident in every way. The staff really care about each and every one of the kids and it’s delightful to see. Sending him here as a run up to starting school was a great decision and we know he is going to miss everyone terribly.”
“Beautiful nursery. Well run and managed. Lovely staff who genuinely care about the children. My grandson has been coming here since a baby and is just leaving for school. He’s been very happy here. A great start to his education. Nice location too and easy to park for drop off. Highly recommended.”
“I love this nursery. The staff are amazing I really feel they understand and support my son as an individual.”
“My friend jasmine loves it they do alt of plays”
“I cannot recommend Little Foxes strongly enough. Our child has loved their two years there and has grown hugely in confidence. They have loved it in all weathers, and to be honest the HQ where they spend breakfast and tea club alone is better than other nurseries we've spent time in. Little Foxes are so creative in how they use the woods and give the kids really healthy levels of responsibility from a young age. Thank you Little Foxes!”
“I'm really enjoying my language journey with Todo el Mundo! As an adult learner, I like the small group setting and learning from a native Spanish speaker. The resources are great and it's helpful to have online catch-ups available. I also enjoy the added option of social activities.”
“Little Minds has been a wonderful and caring nursery for my son. He’s made little friendships, been on all sorts of adventures, created a lot of craft, and always comes out with a smile on his face. Laura and her team have made a brilliant place for little people, and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again!”
“Harcourt is an absolute gem. The staff is incredible. They go above and beyond to include and welcome all children, whatever stage they are at with their socialising journey. They are so creative with the activities they offer children. It really has a community atmosphere, we are incredibly grateful we have had a space for our two children.”
“My daughter started half way through the preschool year and she loves it so much! They made the transition so easy for her and made us all feel very welcome from the first day. We love how much they get involved with the local town, visiting the library, litter picking, using the local parks, visiting a local care home. My 11 month old is starting next week and I know she is going to be so well looked after.”
“My son has been attending Ambourne for over a year, since he was 1. He enjoys going and I can drop him off knowing he is happy there. All the staff are incredibly friendly - I’ve always loved how they greet my son by name no matter which room they work in or their role in the nursery. The nursery’s Montessori approach is what makes them stand out from other local nurseries. We particularly like the fact the children are encouraged to spend time outdoors either in their lovely natural garden or on little trips e.g to the park or to feed the ducks. The communication from staff is brilliant; they give useful information on what my son has done each day (verbal handover and via Tapestry) as well as regular ‘parents evenings’”
“I am just about to enroll my third child into Little Willows nursery. A new nursery has opened much closer to me but I still want to make the journey across town to Little Willows because I know and trust them and can't fault the way they run the place and what they have done for our children so far. All the staff are polite and friendly and seem to love working there. They are all friends with each other and that really creates a great atmosphere. I value their opinion and often ask them over my health visitor!! They were as excited as my family were when we told them no.3 was on the way! Very flexiable - you can move or add days if there is availability. They really get to know your children and how to handle them to help them grow. Thank you Little Willows! Keep up the good work x”
“Very happy with our decision to send our daughter to Archfield (attending for over a year now). I love the setting - nice bright open rooms, huge and varied outdoor space and away from busy roads. There has always been a lovely, warm atmosphere. Staff are dedicated, knowledgeable and happy to discuss any Q's or issues we might have, v supportive. They try hard to support our daughter's second language. They also hold webinars and evenings on things like behaviour, food etc. And it feels like a lovely little community in itself - we've made some friends with other parents via extra events the nursery has organised (beach days, Christmas events etc.). Most importantly, our daughter is happy and clearly learning so much. She comes home with new language and habits that haven't come from us! And she trots off to nursery very happy most of the time. No hesitation in sending our son when he's a bit older.”
“I’ve visited the nursery three times now—mainly the baby room, but I’ve also spent time in the toddler room and spoken with several staff members, including Carl, the manager. Everyone has been really friendly and approachable. While two of my visits didn’t have children present, this is simply because the nursery is still new to the area and in the process of building its reputation after taking over from the previous setting. That might put some people off, but everyone has to start somewhere, and from what I’ve seen, the team is committed to creating a high-quality nursery, much like their well-reviewed sister site on Great Park Road. The quieter start is also understandable given the location—it’s not in the most convenient spot for commuting parents, as many people travel out of Bradley Stoke for work and prefer nurseries closer to main routes. Taking all of that into account, I’ve been really impressed with the staff, and I’m excited for my little boy to join in September. I’m sure by then it will be full of little ones, learning, playing, and causing mischief!”
“Brilliant pre-school. Two grandchildren have attended over recent years and they have both benefited hugely from the care and attention given to them by a very experienced and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend them.”
“Our daughter had a fantastic year at SRUFs. The staff are very caring. They do a great variety of activities including a trip to Arnos Vale every day. Excellent preparation for school. Could not recommend more highly.”
