“Best choice for distance learning. I found that their ever expanding video bank was a brilliant tool in assisting my learning and helping me develop a better understanding. Despite being a distant learning provider I felt the staff were always quick with any query or problem I had. Thanks Bristol !”
“Really lovely place to visit. Quiet, peaceful but with fascinating tales of botany to educate too. There's a really nice cafe as a bonus.”
“I’m not actually a student at the University of Bath (not yet anyway!), but I first came here for sports competitions a while ago. That was my introduction to the city and the uni, and I always remembered it as being somewhere really special. Recently I came back to Bath, just to visit the city again, and as I was wandering around, I stumbled across the university once more. And wow. It honestly stopped me in my tracks how amazing it is. The whole place has such an inspiring energy. The campus is beautifully laid out, everything feels so open, welcoming, and full of life. I loved how green and spacious it is—you can tell it’s been designed with students in mind, but it doesn’t feel clinical or closed off at all. It’s got this perfect balance of being modern and impressive, while still feeling friendly and approachable. You can almost picture yourself studying, relaxing, training, and just living here all at once. I loved the atmosphere most of all. There’s something about Bath as a city already—it’s gorgeous, full of history, and has such a warm character. But then you add the university, and it’s like the city’s energy has its own dedicated hub for learning, sports, and community. You can tell the students here must have such a unique experience: surrounded by world-class facilities, yet only a short trip from one of the prettiest cities in the UK. For me, walking through the campus again completely cemented the thought I’d had before: this is somewhere I would love to be a part of in the future. Even though I’m not studying here yet, I could 100% imagine myself applying, getting involved in everything, and thriving in this environment. It’s one of those places that just feels right—you know immediately that it’s special. So yes, five stars without a doubt. The University of Bath left me inspired, excited, and definitely planning to put it down as a top choice when the time comes for applications.”
“The college is the best place ever and the staff are amazing and the students are funny to be with”
“The most beautiful university campus I have ever visited”
“Took my grandson for his first flying lesson. He loved it. The staff were amazing. So helpful. We ate there and the food was great. Best chips we'd had in a long time. Thank you to everyone who made this a wonderful experience.”
“Excellent introduction to massage. Gave me confidence to try on friends and family. Lovely group of people on the course - a fun day and excellent value for money.”
“What an amazing group! The are like a family and their production of Blood Brothers (December 2022) was the best youth theatre production I have ever seen! What is so amazing is that Julia delivers such a professional, industry-standard drama training whilst teaching her classes in such a warm, kind and inclusive way that everyone feels welcome and valued. If you want to build confidence, learn a plethora of new skills, make friends and develop your talents with a professional who has been in the industry for many years then this is the place for you!!!”
“I am a parent of student of Sue Hill Dance School, but as often as possible we go to shows of BDC Theatre College Bath Dance. The performances are absolutely fantastic, giving us full of different emotions, from laughing to crying. Every show touching our hearts as every show is it a story. With some of the stories we have been identified, feel it and take it home. The professionalism of these performances is truly at a high level, refined in every detail. And the music…..music perfectly matched.”
“Great place in a nice setting. Very encouraging staff”
“Yesterday I been there for exams. They was so kind.Thank you”
“Everything nice and professional. Students are monitored and checked on every step. More care given than expected.”
“As a campus, it's one of the best you'll find. It's large considering the number of students BSU has as well as being absolutely beautiful, with nature at every turn. Walks are always magical and campus is very convenient, being not so large that the SU is impossibly far from Lakeside; but not so small that you can't go on a leisurely walk. Staff and students are also nothing but polite and respectful.”
“We visited Bath Spa University for an open day. We were totally taken aback by the outstanding rural setting, considering its proximity to the built up, World Heritage Site, Bath. Newton Park's Main House, built for Joseph Langton from 1762-1765 set in Capability Brown gardens and leased from the Prince of Wales, is Grade 1 listed. The site has been expanded over the years. with sympathetic and contemporary additions, to make up the campus present today. The staff and pupils were amazing. What a gem!”
“My daughter loves H.C.A all the staff are so supportive in all aspects of the Arts”
“Great place and thanks for Ms.Eleanor Combley she is great ❤️”
“The warmth and kindness of the staff is matched by the joy students seem to feel for the craft they're learning. It was an absolute joy to see them perform and I'll gladly see a show here again!”
“Outstanding Nanny Training College”

“Different people have different experiences. For me, this place has been a literal life saver. For others, maybe not so much. Unlike many of my peers I go to college to learn, not to leisure. So the extremely long breaks they give me don't help whatsoever, but I do acknowledge that I'm in the minority there. Overall, I don't have a clue why it's only rated 4 stars. Having one bad experience at a given place doesn't warrant a 1 star rating, and from what I can tell that's what a good number of the poor reviews are basing themselves upon. I'd give it a better rating if I could. If you were asking me directly if this is the college for you, the answer would probably be yes.”
“Lovely to see the art foundation and design foundation exhibitions here. Beautifully displayed pieces of work created by very talented individuals.”
“Lovely to see all the art pieces produced by the students in their current exhibition.well done everyone!”
“Great college. Mech Engineering studies. Made lots of friends, stayed at the Rookery across the street and partied at the pub next door. I would recommend. 5 stars”
“BLC is a language school where you can improve a lot your language skills, whether you work hard while you are there. You will enjoy both classes, because of the quality of the teachers, and the city, Bristol, which is full of life and it has beautiful landscapes. And the most important, never forget to make as many friends as possible to become very fluent. For me, it was an unforgettable experience!”
“Recently completed a level 2 in counselling skills. My tutor was beyond amazing. The course was laid out really well and was really detailed and I gained a lot of knowledge and skills. The facilities are really good and a bonus that the coffee is good to. No local free parking for students .”
