The staff are all committed to the children and getting the best from them. It's not about being the best individual singer, dancer or actor but about working together as a team. “This is a great venue, it's such a beautiful building. Ideal for a variety of events. A lot of the original features remain, or have been replaced like for like. Much of the original brickwork, and flooring remain throughout the building. The modern meets historical vibe works well for this venue. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. Bar staff, reception, front of house, ushers, all make the space feel so welcoming. The lift might have been out of order, but they have a series of contingency plans, and everyone is able to access the venue. A lovely night was had, when 3 of us came to see Rosie Jones. (She was as fabulous as ever) A special shout out to Rowan who was so helpful from the moment we arrived, to the moment we left. There were several sets of toilets: Gender neutral Male Female Disabled I used the gender neutral toilets, and as I suspected, was absolutely fine! These toilets are great for single parents and carers of opposing genders, who may need to enter the space. Or, rather bizarrely, someone like me who just needed the loo! More spaces should consider installing gender neutral loos.”

“I got to know this place because I attended a clown workshop at the studio. Incredible crew and space, full of life and lots of different classes happening regularly (meditation, yoga, physical theatre and lots more). At the entrance there's a very warm and welcoming caffe with plenty of plant based, vegetarian and other options for hot, cold drinks and delicious food. This space is a little Oasis of happiness, I will definitely be a regular from now on! Thank you Aaron, Igne and the whole team for being so awesome!”

“Curtain Up is an incredible theatre school with great tutoring in drama, singing and dance. I have been at Curtain Up for three years and have enjoyed every minute of my time there. All of the staff are welcoming and professional, ensuring the students learn and develop to the best of their abilities. The regular productions performed by Curtain Up have won numerous awards and nominations from Rose Bowl and NODA. The annual summer schools held by Curtain Up are outstanding, exciting and very fun. The summer school show this year was Les Mis and it was the best two weeks of my summer holiday. Highly recommend!”

“My daughter has attended Keynsham Stagecoach since she was 6 years old, and is now 12, she looks forward every weekend to it. The teachers are wonderful, supportive and fun, the shows are of a high standard and there are good opportunities to take exams. Highly recommend.”

“I have been attending adult tap classes and they are always great fun! Lots of opportunities to progress in skills and exams too. My daughter also has ballet and jazz lessons which she thoroughly enjoys. The dance teacher is very kind and approachable but also very professional, always wanting to encourage the best from her pupils and lots of opportunities are provided. I would definitely recommend Stagelights Dance School for beginners or people wanting to progress.”

“I would definitely recommend BSPA. My daughter is a student there. She absolutely loves it. She has been enrolled since it moved location to Warmley. It is so convenient and parking is very easy. Amanda, Sam, Sophie and Chloe are brilliant teachers. They have really increased her confidence and ability in acting and singing. She has private singing lessons with Amanda who has increased her range and repertoire, and has just started piano lessons with Chloe, which she is really enjoying.”
