“Our daughter has really thrived at Swish and it's great outlet for the all the built up energy she has . Zara has just completed her first theatre show and she was supported all the way to deal with any stage nerves and thoroughly enjoyed herself . We are looking forward to continuing our journey with Swish !”
“Having started Spinners in 1988 I can not believe how much it has changed and developed over the years. We continue to offer the same reliable and caring service but have included more styles of dance and a musical theatre programme for children and young adults. Children that we taught are now parents themselves and bring their children to the school. Yes it's makes us feel old but hey that's a good thing. We keep current and make the students time at the school an enjoyable one. Exciting times are ahead, as always, with IDTA examinations and two shows yearly at The Point Theatre. “Kelly-Anne has a lovely warm way about her that the children instantly take to. My daughter thoroughly enjoys her acting/drama classes. Highly recommend!”
“I began this year with a little under 2 years experience in performing as a whole. Zero dance training and acting/singing that could do with a good bit of work. And now, I'm going to a highly rated drama school. Never would I have even thought this would've been possible before I found BIGLITTLE. Even as an outsider joining the company for just one year of their phenomenal PDPF+, I could see instantly from my first training session that this place was going to get me to where I needed to be. Little over 3 months training, I had an offer from a drama school. The teaching staff are a delight to be taught by, the level of teaching is beyond anything I'd have imagined and it is run extraordinarily well. You are welcomed in with open arms by everyone. The friendships I have made will be for life, and not just with students either. The teachers really get to know you as a person - which allows for such a difference in training as there is more trust and a willingness to make them proud. Both inside and outside the classroom, they have your back. PDP, and specifically for me PDPF+, are a superb thing to be a part of. The experience you gain from events and shows really goes a long way - that's not even to mention the training. It is intense but fair, pushes you to your best but never over your limit and the benefits really show. You get to work with a multitude of professionals (all of which are very successful in their own careers) on a very regular basis and their own experience and advice will stick with me forever. In short, BIGLITTLE made a dream reality and I have zero doubts that others will share in this experience.”
“My daughter really enjoys her rehearsals in Highcliffe and has also started the singing lessons too. It is a wonderful place to meet new friends from other schools and it is also very inclusive for all abilities. The workshops are a massive bonus too; enabling opportunities to work with West end stars for both guidance and inspiration. Always great productions and brilliant leadership. Would definately recommend.”
“This place was my home and I mean that so genuinely. The friends I made there were my family, and not just in a metaphorical way, as I finished TT 6 years ago and now live with my best friend who I met there! Karina and all the other teachers are who gave me the skills, confidence, and experience to move to London and study performing arts full time. I now get to dance and sing my way around the world as my job and still regularly think back on all the fond memories- and there are LOTS. There is no better way to spend your time than here (but be warned - you will never want to leave!)”
“My daughter loves this. The teachers are great and they put on fantastic performances. It's great for the kids confidence. Thank you Stagecoach!”
“My daughter absolutely loves attending her Saturday class in Bursledon. She always has such a great time and loves everyone. Would highly recommend she’s turning into a real confident little one. The extra holiday sessions they run are amazing too!”
“All 3 of my children have attended Starcast over the last 6 or so years. They are all very different with different strengths and passions and there has been a fit for all 3 (including my teenage son). I now have just one left at Starcast and she is loving being part of Drama company and being given so many fabulous opportunities to perform.”
“Tuesday is our daughters favourite day of the week by far. Sound pop in her words "is the best club anyone could join". She has abundance of confidence and made such wonderful friends since joining. #welovesoundpop!!”
“Been a part of this company for almost 6 years and have loved every minute of it.”
“My daughter loves Big Mouth! It’s helped her grow in confidence and make friends. Every performance she has been in has been so impressive. Thank you to the Big Mouth team!”
“Both my daughters are at WTA now aged 15 and 17 and have been with the group sine they were 5. My eldest is just about to perform for the final time in the Christmas concert, which we are excited to see. They both love WTA and have made some life long friendships (I’m sure) from their time there. My eldest daughter has really improved in her confidence and ability, especially in singing and is really sad that this is her final year. WTA productions never cease to amaze me in their creativity and professionalism. It is a testament to WTA that they are still members of the group after all this time and the enjoyment that they get from it. I would highly recommend WTA to any dudding performer!”
“My son started his Big Mouth journey in Sept 2023 and has not looked back. He has always loved performing and drama, but Big Mouth encourages the children to write their own script and lead their plays. The children don't have to 'audition' for a part so no child feels left out, it really develops their confidence and self esteem. Alongside this Big Mouth offers fun get togethers and celebrations outside of the regular setting. I would absolutely recommend Big Mouth!”
“In a wheelchair but the position was perfect to see Fleetwood unchained. This is a band worth seeing. Great disabled facilities. Nice bar with tea and coffee. I would recommend.”
“Great venue, excellent staff. Saw the Bon Jovi Cover band - 'Wrong Jovi' at Hangar farm. It was a great night.”
“First class concert venue. Excellent acoustics and lovely friendly staff.”
“À great local theatre owned and run by volunteers to a professional level. I've been many times to watch theatre, not interested in tribute bands etc, and the standard is always to the highest level. Really interesting range of productions on both the main stage and the Green Room stage. Good bar upstairs and down and not too bad on the prices, ice creams for the interval, drinks can be taken into the auditorium in plastic glasses. Everybody working here volunteers from the bar staff to the actors which is amazing, the standard throughout is very professional. If you live locally or you are having a trip to this wonderful market town take time to watch one of the many shows a year, one a month and more to see if you like tribune bands, something for everyone.”
“Great welcoming place. Just been to the new Scrabble/Board Games Group which started this afternoon. Fun, very relaxed, cuppa, chocolate brownie and good to meet people. Come along, meeting monthly at the moment (check website or call centre for future dates). Come along and give it a go!”
“Brilliant Show! Very, very professional effort and great entertainment!”
“My children love their time at Kings and especially look forward to shows. It really feels like a family with older pupils supporting the younger children and often returning to the school to teach. A number of pupils continue in dance courses at uni and college so the quality of teaching is excellent. I don’t think my children will become professionals but they enjoy meeting their friends, learning new skills, having fun whilst exercising and being part of a dance school family.”
“Great productions to a good standard with a really warm and friendly welcome from the team of volunteers.”
“Excellent place. My son just loves it. Jack's work is simply amazing. They work very important soft skills with the kids, besides the wonderful acting skills. My son definitely boosted his confidence and was in general very happy while he was there. Thank you Perform and specially Jack.”
“My daughter loves stage coach, she constantly sings and dances at home and it has really helped with her confidence of performing anything in front of people”
