“My daughter has been at Razz York for 6 years now and loves every minute of it. Hollie and Angela ensure that the teachers are skilled and provide a good range of dance, drama and singing. She was lucky enough to go to London with the school and perform at the Shaftesbury Theatre, all organised by the school. The performance was amazing thanks to the team of teachers and especially Jayden who did a lot of the choreography work. We would definitely recommend the school which has the right level of formality putting the children at ease but keeping them focused. There is a real sense of family within the school, with the students teachers and even parents.”

Mark, the Principal, has a genuine care for his students as do all the teachers that work there. The venue is fantastic and has a proper stage/theatre room where they can perform their shows, giving the kids invaluable experience. “Great film school! Small but mighty! The best part about Met is the community: every lecturer is a working industry professional who has great relationships with all their students; non-teaching staff are also super friendly and know everyone's name creating an atmosphere which is very friendly but professional. As a student you will know the majority of your year group and have ample opportunities to network and socialise with other courses and year groups. (MetFilm also has the best parties in Leeds). The kit room is full of great kit available to rent out, although the process could do with streamlining. Modules are fun and very practical: you get your hands on kit a lot in lessons as well as assignments! Great place to study if you're passionate about film and/or acting!”
