   My daughter has been attending York Stage School for just over 4 years and she absolutely adores it! She attends the Saturday class and comes out of her lesson every week, smiling from ear to ear. The 2 hour class is a variety of acting, singing and dancing. She loves working with all of her fabulous teachers, all whom are extremely knowledgable, supportive and have a wealth of experience between them. I particularly enjoy getting to watch my daughter and other pupils perform in their termly showcase, which gives them the opportunity to go before a live audience. My daughter also enjoys private lessons with the amazing Jo Theaker, working on her singing and acting skills. Jo is patient, kind and fun and I feel my little girl has improved massively with her in terms of ability and confidence. She really looks forward to these lessons. I cannot recommend Jo enough. If you’re looking for an independent, performing arts environment for your child to thrive in, then York Stage School is the place!

   My daughter has attended York Stage School for over 3 years and absolutely loves it. The quality & talent of the teaching staff is brilliant and not only does she learn so much, it is also great for building her confidence and getting her to trying new things, sometimes out of her comfort zone. She recently attended the summer school/show in a week which was also fantastic - so well organised and the show too was brilliant. Would highly recommend to any parents of children considering performing arts classes.

   We have been looking for musical theatre class and have experienced other performing school in the past, but we can confidently say that the difference here is remarkable. My daughter has been going to York Stage School for 7 months now, and she loves it. Every week she comes out smiling and singing to me at home. Everyone at York Stage School are incredible the work they do with the children. It's been such a joy to watch my daughter grow in confidence. The recent show was an absolute delight to watch. It’s so impressive to see young talent shine. Thank you for providing such a safe, inspiring, and fun environment for the kids to thrive in.

   The most wonderful, nurturing and fun environment for young children! After enjoying two years of fabulous Yorkie puds classes, my daughter graduated today. We are very sad to say goodbye but are so grateful for the brilliant experience.Dani and the team’s kindness and enthusiasm have played a huge part in transforming my quiet, reluctant toddler in to a confident little girl who is keen to be at the front of the class and joining in with all the dances. The changes of themes and songs / dances keep the class fun and fresh for everyone and the welcoming atmosphere from teachers and parents make it a must for anyone with young children and is a great place to make new friends! We’ll miss you Yorkiepuds. Thank you ☺️

   My daughter has been attending York Stage School for the past 2.5 years and absolutely loves it. She has learnt so much, grown in confidence and had so many opportunities. We tried a few others before we found York Stage and now I feel we have found exactly what we were looking for. The teachers are brilliant, provide so much expertise and encouragement. The quality of the the teaching and what the kids produce is head and shoulders above anything she did before. It feels like you are a part of a family and the work put in over lockdown was unreal.

   Izzy has just started at York Stage School but came skipping out after the first week and did an impromptu performance with her friend. Izzy can at times be shy so this was lovely to see. She came out of the second week saying it was even better than the first week! She enjoys the variety of activities and clearly felt right at home. I’ve been impressed by quick responses and friendly communication over email and in person. Really glad we signed her up!
