Had a shocker of an experience with the 'cafe'. An uncommunicative teenager sat nearby with headphones on, no other staff there. No sandwiches at all over lunchtime. Very rude and short with me. I was in doing some examining.

Came to watch a fantastic show. The bar was under staffed and then shut the bar as the show started and completely refused to serve anybody left that had been queuing for 25 minutes. Not even water⦠ruined the whole experience and loads of people forced to watch the whole 3 Hour show without a single drink⦠ridiculous

As a parent of three kids who have all attended university, the experience during admissions, enrolment and administrative matters at Leeds Conservatoire is by far the worst and most disorganised I have ever experienced. Absolutely shocking lack of attention to committed fee paying students. Would not recommend at all.

The best music college in Yorkshire. I am a 2004 graduate of York St. John College, York but I went to Leeds College of music from 1999-2001 where I did CASMAP - music. Thanks to all my tutors at that time. Jonathan Bielby. You are the best. My picture was on the wall and I was also in the Prospectus βΊοΈ. I currently reside in the US. Fort Lauderdale, Florida where I am a music tutor.

Been to the open day last year and I found literally nothing about the teachers there. I am a Tuba player who was looking into Leeds. It was a nice building however the only did talking, no interaction with teachers and felt extremely rushed for an open day. I was in the Classical music talk and they shown names of teachers but nothing about what instrument they taught. When I asked if they had a Tuba professor the person doing that talk responded with "We'll try to find one". However, the music business talk was very engaging at the start and was pretty good hence the 2 stars. Overall, I do not recommend if you are a fellow tubist since there is not a single teacher mentioned on the website nor on the open day that played the Tuba. Was a waste of time for the open day, Happy I didn't apply.

Amazing place with the best opportunities for students. State of the art equipment and 121 tutoring. All the experiences are there for the taking.

They should of kept it as college of Music. They don't guarantee one to one lessons on a specific instruments IE tuba. All courses you go on they do recommend one to one tutoring.

It was very organised openday , enjoyed the talks and performances, questions were professionally answered. Students were very friendly and helpful. It was well looked after building. Canteen had good choices for the students but as it it for students slightly expensive, I mean prices are ok normally but for students I expect slightly lower prices.
