    Drink and food service was separate. Drinks would give a 2. Wife ordered a couple of cocktails which took over 10 mins to be prepared when the place was literally empty. I finished my pint and ordered another before they arrived. The food was a 5 (hence the 4 star overall). My burger and fries were tasty and great. All arrived speedy too. My wife ordered the chicken burger but it tasted funny and had a strange texture. The chef checked on us and we described the issue. He insisted on preparing a plain chicken breast which was much tastier and very much enjoyed. When things go wrong it often isn't planned and can't be helped but the service and care really turned it around and ensured that we will return.

    Went along for the valentines cocktail masterclass and had a great time. Made 4 different cocktails and a few other drinks were included in the price. Really good fun and well organised.

    Spent a lovely few hours here with old school friends and had a great laugh in a lovely place.The bar staff were really friendly ,it wasn't busy so we were served really quickly.Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!!!!

    Nice food but very pricey for what it is. £7 for a toastie and less than a handful of salad. Nice atmosphere and i would consider the staff to be quite welcoming. If it was £7 for 2 toasties, i would be more sold but what i did pay for a single toastie is kind of ridiculous.

    I've been here before and loved it. A couple of weeks ago I looked online to see what was on, it didn't say anything unusual. I then paid £15 for a taxi there to be told there was a private event on so the back was closed. I paid another £15 together home...waste of money. Previously I recommend this bar to everyone, now its gone down in my estimation. We sat out back for a drink before we left and it's scruffy. Not sure if there is new owners but I won't be going again.

    The Electric Theatre has been through many reinventions and I think this is the best to date. Food hit the mark at a good price with good service. Interior is nicely furnished and comfortable. Looking forward to returning.
