   Been here a few times now after discovering its not far from my house and I never knew about it! Had the Sunday lunch which was one of the best I’ve ever had I couldn’t get over how amazing it tasted! We also attended for a wine tasting evening which was the best value for money & most gorgeous food and wine in a perfect setting. The staff are always so friendly and service is top tier. So glad to have found a new place I will be visiting non-stop!

   Four of us went for an evening meal. We sat in the conservatory. Which was fine. It did get cool towards the end of the night. Three different meals. Four different starters. Two different desserts. The chicken burger was over cooked. The Chips weren’t appetizing. Would not go again for a meal Maybe go for an afternoon tea. .

   We have been frequent visitors to The Twisted Tree from its launch, and cant believe we hadn’t reviewed yet ! If you want a great breakfast, good lunch, afternoon tea or lovely evening meal it is a great little find, always worth a call to make sure they can fit you in, although the new Garden room has added much needed extra space For breakfast you can’t fault the full English, great quality ingredients and always really well prepared, for lunch I’d recommend the steak sandwich or chicken salad, both are great. We’d also recommend the sharing starter, it’s brilliant at about £16, great choice and lots of different options. The afternoon tea is great value and in our opinion is the best in the area, and simply coffee and a cake can be great if the weather is good Oh yes, one final recommendation, I’d travel miles for the Halloumi fries, simply have to add them to any dish !

   Absolutely amazing food and great staff too. We had the sharing platter as a starter and be warned it is huge. Absolutely gorgeous but definitely don't order mains as well if you aren't big eaters. The only disappointment was the cake! We ordered a malteser cake but it was just rich chocolate cake with a couple of maltesers on top and it was also very dry. You can take the cakes to go but desert is eat in only. Service is quick and they are very attentive. We will definitely go again.

   My favourite restaurant in castleford. Love the eggs benedict! My son loves the full english even though I just order him a few items and the home made pancakes! Coffee is lovely too. Always make you welcome
