“Have been going for over a year now. Love the range of music and the dances we do. It definitely is a good fitness work out as it is so intense: literally 40 minutes of dancing with a few swigs of water in between. Beth is brilliant at explaining and demonstrating the steps and obviously works hard to come up with new dances every 2-3 weeks.”

“Rad and Lise’s capoeira classes have been a big part of both my daughter’s lives for years. They create a really lovely, welcoming environment where the kids feel free to express themselves and explore all sorts including: singing, learning Portuguese, playing instruments, as well as learning the capoeira moves. “This is such an amazing dance school. I have wanted to join one for the last 10 years but I was too scared of being a beginner and looking silly / not fitting in. I joined doing a total beginner class and the teachers are SO friendly, supportive and encouraging. I loved it so much I have joined for another term in the class / level up. Their main focus is that everyone has a good time and feels comfortable, and they surpass that goal every week! They obviously give you tips and encourage you to dance better but it’s more about how you feel than how you look. There are opportunities to perform in chill environments too. I can’t recommend enough. If you’ve been umming and ahhing, give it a go, you won’t regret it!”

“Sometimes I feels like we forget how lucky we are to have a professional dance school in our village. Once again you bought a West End level of professionalism to our local theatre. Every step was in time, every move synchronised , every line delivered to perfection. It is one thing singing a song , and boy did they sing, it is another to convey the story at the same time. I had the pleasure of joining “the team” for a short time. From my perch in the gods, it was a true delight to see the self confidence grow in each performer. Through tech and dress rehearsals right up to that final performance, a standing ovation that just would not stop (you have no idea how much that standing ovation means to the team). It’s more than an amazing performance, you teach our children to work as a team, to handle the unexpected with poise and precision, to remain calm and carry on. You support listening and focus, skills constantly eroded by tools like this. This filters into everyday life. You can pick out the children who you nurture at school award events - they hold their heads high, unafraid of the stage. You see them in town giving way and holding doors open whilst others barge through. This production has enriched our family. Our Alexa’s and minds repeating the tunes (constantly!). The Queens are the talk of the dinner table , each of their stories researched and retold. Not only the talk of our house but the school run, supermarket and high street! People humming the songs and cars with windows open pumping out the tunes. Your impact has been far and wide. “Wanted to join a beginners class and get back into dancing and am so happy I found Motion Studios. I started a beginners class on Monday two weeks ago with Laura and I have really been enjoying it, the atmosphere is so positive and it has been such an empowering experience. Definitely get a good workout, a good sweat on and a good giggle! Would totally recommend Laura’s class to anyone looking for good laugh and boosting some of that confidence. The studio is tres clean and it’s cool so it’s not just a hot sweat box! Looking forward to doing more classes here :) there is also parking opposite.”

“I've been going to salsa souls for the last 4 years (coming up to 5) and every time I go I come out with a smile on my face. Stellan is a fantastic dance teacher and brings the whole room together. I've seen so much improvement in myself and other students - he really cares about your technique and patiently shows you how to advance. “I couldn’t recommend 360 pole enough! It has changed me for the better. I’ve gained muscle in places I’ve never had muscle and I can do so much more than I ever thought I could do! I have so much fun and I leave there smiling ear to ear! Amy is an incredible instructor! She leaves my jaw on the floor with everything she does. “Have been learning to dance ballroom and latin with Sam and Martina for several years. Enjoyable classes and good music too. Sam always tries to arrange groups with similar abilities and so there is no pressure and everyone is very relaxed. We tried several classes in the local area but Sam and Martina's was the best for us.”
