โI found this dance studio online and went for a trial session this Friday. The venue itself is easy enough to get to via Uber or public transport (a walk to St James Park UG). The people who work there couldn't have been nicer, very welcoming and knowledgeable! I met my dance instructor and we had a short intro discussion about what I'd like to learn / achieve before getting on the dance floor. The space is brilliant and the team are incredibly friendly and hospitable - I have signed up for lessons and would definitely recommend to anyone who wishes to learn. Hot tip for newbies, wear flat shoes.โ
โMe and my fiancรฉ took lessons with Paul here prior to our wedding. Paul was a great teacher and helped us come up with a routine and perfect this over a couple of lessons. Everyone has said they loved our first danceโ
โMy 3y old joined the children ballet class and really loved it. The teacher was professional, gave individual attention, encouraging, correcting and reassuring them. Great way for training the little muscles and posture whilst having fun!โ
โIt's a fantastic place to learn to dance, no matter what your level is. Top teachers! Ginu and Patricia are super kind and patient, adapting the class to your level so no one feels bored or overwhelmed. 100% recommended!โ
โA massive thank you to Anna for helping us devise and nail a routine for our wedding day! She was super friendly, flexible with arranging sessions and extremely patient with two non-dancers, creating the perfect safe space for learning. We had a slightly unusual first dance song and she went above and beyond to choreograph a routine that worked perfectly. A lot of our guests were impressed with the performance and we had a ton of fun throughout the process. Thanks a million Anna!โ
โOur daughter had simply the best time at the PPAS summer school. The classes were varied and brilliantly taught, the two performances at the Leicester Square Theatre and Covent Garden piazza were so exciting and the friendships formed have built up her confidence so much. She is desperate to sign up for next year!!โ
โI joined Jig and a swig in January and itโs the best thing Iโve done since moving to London. Jessie creates such a fun, open and welcoming environment from the first minute. She is a brilliant teacher and does this all while keeping the classes organised and running smoothly, seemingly effortlessly! The community is fantastic, full of like-minded people who also want to try something new and make friends along the way, made easier by the fact that you see them every week. There are extra events being run all of the time and so many opportunities to get involved if the weekly class isnโt enough:)โ
โThank you Angelo for preparation and organisation of the last 2 exams. It was handled professionally and with a lot of passion. I was very glad that the teacher was able to run the exam smoothly under a lot of pressure, including some false accusation and childish behaviour from a student during the exam. In the end the exam was complete successfully and we are all very thankful for Angelo for all of his hard workโ
โAdult contemporary class is the most rewarding thing I could do on Thursday evenings. Always open for experiments, fun and friendly environment. Lots of options to enjoy - either fancy warm-up, or space-filling diagonals, or new exciting choreo. And amazing opportunity to perform in front of friendly audience few times a year. I love our teacher Gemma - the most dedicated and cheerful person I ever know. Whoever wants trying - you are welcome to join a family of Sutton contemporary dancers!โ
โMy daughter Milan has been attending Razzamataz for nearly 2 years and she loves it here. She looks forward to her Wednesdays and really loves her teachers Paige and Kacey. Couldnโt recommend enough โฅ๏ธโ
โWe booked sessions with captiv8 dance to prepare for a wedding dance at the suggestion of my fiancรฉ. I want massively bothered about it but went along with it. It turned out to be one of the most fun bits of the wedding prep. Oya is such a good teacher, so flexible and so enthusiastic. She doesn't teach you just a routine but how to dance. We found the practice to be an ideal antidote to wedding stress. When it came to the wedding we nailed it, and it felt so good. We even did our dance at home the day later as we missed it. We're planning on doing follow up lessons as we loved it so much!โ
โThe Razz team make sure that all children are included, valued and happy, they provide children with the opportunity to performe in a wide range of varied places ie Shaftsbury avenue, Queens theatre, amazing marquee at Barleylands, shopping centres, festivals etc.โ
โAbsolutely Amazing Salsa Classes with Magda! Magda is truly a phenomenal salsa teacher. Her passion for dance is infectious, and it shines through in every class she teaches. From the very first session, she creates a welcoming and energetic atmosphere that puts everyone at ease, whether you're a complete beginner or more experienced. What makes Magda stand out is her ability to break down complex steps into easy, manageable parts while keeping the rhythm and excitement of salsa alive. Sheโs incredibly patient, encouraging, and always finds a way to make each class fun and engaging. Youโre guaranteed to leave with a smile on your face and a few new moves under your belt! If you're looking for an inspiring, professional, and passionate salsa teacher, Magda is it. Her classes are not just lessonsโtheyโre an experience. Highly recommended!โ
โOur daughter started dancing at Rochester School of Dance when she was 3- she's now 6, and loves it more than ever. The ethos and feel of the school is just lovely- supportive, encouraging and has taught our daughter so much more than dance. Couldn't recommend highly enough!โ
โMy little girl loves going to Razz and I absolutely love seeing her confidence grow with every show she does. The teachers are wonderful with the kids and really want to see them all shine.โ
โIf youโre thinking of starting a new hobby or getting into dancing, this is the class for you!!! Nuno and all of the lovely instructors are amazing, patient and have great sense of humours. Thereโs no self-consciousness. Nuno even choreographed our wedding dance! Best dance class EVER.โ
โMy son, he is 16 years old, he started attending ESDA this January. He has been learning HipHopDance since he was 8 years old in the U.S. We were looking for a cool dance school where he could use his experience and we found ESDA. We also appreciate the regular competitions, show times, and exams to measure his ability. We also appreciate the connections to event shows and the opportunity to showcase our dances at events.โ
โAna is such an amazing instructor. She made the class so fun and enjoyable while learning very key skills. I would definitely recommend her classes to everyone!โ
โPopGems is an incredible place where children can truly explore their creativity and talents. The staff are not only dedicated but also passionate about creating a positive, welcoming atmosphere where kids can dance, act, and sing in a fun and supportive environment. It's clear that a lot of hard work goes into making every class enjoyable, and itโs evident how much the kids love being there. I highly recommend PopGems to any parent looking for a place where their child can grow, have fun, and discover their creative potential. Itโs been a wonderful experience!โ
โKsenia was excellent dance teacher. She managed to create a lovely routine that wowed our guests but fit our experience and really helped to make our day super special. Donโt hesitate to choose her as your instructor. You wonโt regret it!โ
โIf youโre thinking of trying pole you should absolutely do it!! Did the 6 week beginners course and I wasnโt particularly fit beforehand but everyone was so lovely and you build up strength really quickly! My trainer, Jai, was incredibly lovely and encouraging! Had the best time and will definitely be back!โ
โWe are so pleased with our daughterโs growth and confidence in her ballet classes! She is constantly talking about ballet and says โmy ballet schoolโ anytime we walk past. Sheโs almost 2.5 years old and I know her classes will support her confidence in everything she does. Ms Amy is an amazing teacher and so supportive. Thank you!โ
โWe have been attending Neil's classes for some years and they are always very enjoyable and rewarding as he is a great teacher, whatever your level. He takes the time to explain and demonstrate all steps and the routine in detail and there is always a sense of achievement when learning a new skill in such a super environment. Neil's classes are also always great fun - he has a particular style and sense of humour, varied and well structured. We have also tried private lessons which are of great value. Rubies and Neil much deserve all success and are highly recommended!โ
โBoth my daughters have spent many years at Ondine, which we have found to be absolutely brilliant. High quality teaching and an atmosphere of real camaraderie where they have made many friends. Would recommend across the full range of dance genres. They also love the shows!โ
โHayley and the team at DH dance are so lovely! My son (4) started Street Dance this year having never attended a club outside of school before. He was really nervous and unsure to start with but really quickly started to grow in confidence every week. At that age, the most important thing is to have fun and develop confidence and weโve achieved both of those with DH Dance this year! Thank you!โ
โMy daughter has been attending classes with JV for a year and is disappointed that she can only give a maximum of 5 stars - she says it should be a million! She has tried other classes before but has always had difficulty keeping up with everyone and would get very anxious. JV is gentle, enthusiastic and encouraging, and has made her confidence soar!โ
โVirginia from Salsateca Dance School attended our corporate Latin Hispanic Heritage month event and was a great dancing instructor. Her great charisma and sense of humour teased many of our colleagues into dancing not only solo but as couples! We all had a great night! Will be booking Salsateca again!!!!โ
โMy daughter has been in the acro fusion class for a few months now. She's not a natural dancer, and lacked confidence in her abilities. However since being at Harlequins she has made lots of friends and grown massively in confidence. Great job!โ
โMy daughter has grown so much confidence whilst attending Hertsmere Academy of Dance and performing arts, the staff are so lovely and friendly. I would definitely recommend this performing arts school if your wanting your child to learn or build on the knowledge they already have.โ
โMy daughter, 7 years old, has been attending Lyric Dance School for a couple of years. It's dancing, singing, acting combined with physical fun games. She absolutely loves it. Huge thanks to the teachers.โ
