My now husband and I decided at relatively short notice that we would benefit from a dance instructor for our first dance, and we are so pleased we made the decision to do so, and that we found Ksenia! We had 10 lessons and truly, it was a worthwhile investment and made our first dance exciting and memorable. Ksenia listened attentively to our needs and fully delivered. She choreographed a classy yet fun routine that made us look refined and polished (despite limited prior dance experience). After a number of intensive sessions, we were over the moon with our progress. She was so patient with us and additionally, you can tell her years of experience based on her ability to pick up where you (or your partner) can refine and finesse your steps. We had such a wonderful experience preparing our first dance! From the very first lesson, we felt supported and comfortable, even though we had never danced before. Ksenia broke everything down step by step, made it fun, and really tailored the choreography to our song and personalities. We had our lessons at a private dance studio which felt really comforting. By the wedding day, we felt confident and actually excited to perform in front of our guests — and everyone loved it! We’re so grateful for the patience, creativity, and encouragement we received. Great first dance experience at dance space. We had a great time working with Ksenia. The choreography was exactly what we had in mind. Overall all round experience was fun and lessons very productive. You want to practice in between lessons and that is something we learned while preparing for our wedding day.
We engaged Ksenia to teach us our first dance, and would really recommend her regardless of your competency level (we were complete beginners!) Ksenia is a professional who competes, so needless to say, she has really good technique and was able to share both theory and tips to make our moves look nicer. She was able to customise the choreography along the way to suit us, such that it was easy to follow but also with the objective of looking good for the pics! Finally, Ksenia is just a really nice person, and always tried her best to accommodate our schedules. It was a pleasure to learn from her and we really enjoyed our classes!
We had our first dance lessons with dancespace. We were complete beginners and had a bachata song in mind. Ksenia choreographed the whole routine making it simple yet very effective so we felt like we were properly dancing and doing moves we thought we never would be able to do! It was a great experience I highly recommend if you want to go for quality and look fantastic dancing on your wedding day. She also followed us through out the way helping with any issues we had when practicing between sessions.
What a great place! We had a fantastic experience provided by lovely and very professional teacher Ksenia. She was very helpful and happy to focus on things I especially wanted to improve while getting us out of the comfort zone. Ksenia has a very good eye to make necessary corrections and a huge dance knowledge. Also, she is very encouraging and a super joy to work with! Would highly recommend!
