βLindy Hop classes are awesome. work out and have fun at the sound of the best Jazz music. ...and meet a lot of new friends. A short stroll from Greenwich town centre, there is something for everyone.β
βEmma is a lovely person, very enthusiastic and always wants the best for your children. She works hard to help her students expand their skills, and improve their dancing in both ballet and contemporary. Great opportunities would recommend.β
βOur children have been taking lessons with RSB for the last 9 years, and we really can't recommend them highly enough. Our daughter takes several dance classes in different disciplines which she absolutely loves. All 3 of our children also attend Starlight, their musical theatre course, which they enjoy immensely. The numerous performance opportunities the children have had has really helped them to grow in confidence and to develop life skills which sadly can't always be taught within the confines of the National Curriculum. RSB's teachers are fantastic, both in their level of expertise and their ability to nurture the children as individuals.β
βI completed the beginner and advanced classes over the summer and absolutely loved them! Colette and Robin were great at explaining each step of learning and we left feeling inspired watching them dance after their demonstrations! The class was a great size and everyone was very friendly and kind to us. Despite not knowing how to dance, by the end of the course I was shocked at how much I had learnt! They also helped introduce us to places we could keep practicing and dancing in London. It was a lovely part of the week to look forward to and I would absolutely recommend!!β

βBoth my daughters have been taken classes with Dakodas and love them! Acro in particular is an amazing mix of dance and gymnastics. But the overall highlight is the end of year show, a huge production and a big treat for parents and kids alike!β
βHighgate Ballet School is a wonderful place for your child to learn and dance Ballet. Highly skilled and trained teachers and a friendly school to grow with Ballet. The shows and performances are always special and great enjoyment.β
βWhat CANβT I say about Leilah? She is an incredible dancer, an incredible teacher, and an incredible person. All of her classes are filled with good energy and fun choreo, and theyβve been a staple of my time here in London. I recommend Leilahβs belly dance to everyone!β
βSuch a fun class. Malika is a great teacher, she empowers you to trust your own movement in a welcoming environment. Everyone in the class is super friendly and itβs super fun while learning a lot. Thank you Malika:)β
βAmazing nurturing sessions for aspiring ballerinas. Zoe puts her heart and soul into each and every session, always greeting the students with a smile and words of encouragement. She is friendly, approachable and really accomodating. My daughter has really enjoyed her sessions and gained a lot of valuable skills and experience.β
βMassively enjoyed Jelenaβs classes! I was quite nervous when I just started, being a complete novice in salsa. However, Jelenaβs professional approach and easygoing personality made it so easy to fall in love with, relax and truly enjoy. Atmosphere in the class was very warm and friendly. Jelenaβs attentive and patient guidance helped me both to develop my dancing skills and improve my confidence. Canβt recommend more!β
βTeachers are amazing, classes are gender balanced, loved it. The only dance school in London that offers progressive courses.β
βDilek is the best ballet teacher Iβve ever trained with. She really cares about the individual improvement of all her pupils and pushes you to be the best dancer you can be. The atmosphere she creates at the school and in her classes is friendly, supportive and fun. As an adult ballet dancer, I could not recommend her enough!β
βWe paid for wedding dance lessons with Lauren @ Kaleidoscope Dance to prepare myself and my husband for our first dance. Neither of us are dancers, and this was way out of our comfort zone, but we decided it would be fun and would break up the stressful wedding planning. We are both so pleased that we did it. We had 4 lessons with Lauren, who choreographed and taught us our dance. Lauren is bubbly and friendly, which made the lessons really enjoyable, they would always be filled with laughter. Lauren was kind and helped us improve our dancing and helped us to feel confident for the big day! Lauren was always asking for our input and wanted us to feel comfortable above all. On the day, the first dance went really well and it was the talk between all of our friends and family for a while, commenting how beautiful it was. My father commented that it was a highlight of his day and he felt very proud. We would highly recommend Kaleidoscope dance for any couples looking for somebody to choreograph and teach a first dance. Thank you Lauren :) xxβ
βMy daughter absolutely lives and breathes Inspire Dance. She has made close friends, enjoys all her classes and the standard of teaching is exceptional. The performances and competitions are amazing (as a spectator!) and she loves taking part in them. Such a variety of classes on offer. Her confidence, passion and skills have all grown in her time there. Thank you.β
βJack provided private lessons to both myself and my wife before our wedding, along with group lessons for both our hen and stag dos. He's an amazing dancer and his passion for dancing and teaching is contagious. Jack made us feel completely comfortable and he helps you learn whether you can dance or have two left feet. The group sessions for our friends were great fun. Jack had even the most seasoned English wallflowers up on their feet. We will both be having further private lessons and we can't recommend Jack highly enough.β
βReally recommend Becky and her team for starting or continuing pole dance. Iβve been to a few pole schools in London and the South East, and havenβt had the same welcoming and community feeling as I have with Becky and team. I joined in Jan 2020 just before the pandemic, so only had a short time before moving online (then back in studio again) but Becky handled the transition so well and made everything as easy as possible. All 4 instructors are so friendly, patient and knowledgeable, coming to BB Pole Studio is my favourite part of my weekβ
βBoth our daughters have attended Shimmi Shakes for over six months now. The provision for ballet and tap dance is so impressive, and the girls look forward to the Saturday morning sessions every week. The team are wonderful and there is an amazing sense of community, with exams organised, and trips to the West End to see professional theatre as well. We couldn't be happier.β
βI have danced with Luanda in her classes at the Acosta Dance Foundation in Woolwich, London. I have thoroughly enjoyed all the classes a found Luanda an exceptional dance tutor, very passionate, inspiring and most of all very professional. She gives you all the elements for learning the dances. She is really passionate about bringing the dance experience to everyone. She is very caring and you always feel supported because she adapts her teaching to suit you. I am also very impressed to see how Luanda has build her dance business here in London in a short time and itβs all down to her immense drive and passion. Thank you Luandaβ
βWe had a wonderful experience with Dora when she taught us our first dance. She was extremely communicative, friendly, and made the two lessons a lot of fun! If you would like a choreographed first dance, I couldnβt recommend Dora more.β
βAmazing performing arts school. Offers an astonishing range of classes, taught by first-class teachers and an end of year showcase that rivals West End productions. Couldn't recommend more highly.β
βWe had visited quite a few nurseries for my 18-month old and and were thrilled to find Crafty Wizards preschool which unusually for a preschool takes from 18-months. We love the format that all ages are mixed together promoting peer learning and the setting is intimate and personal. The staff are wonderful and really care about the kids. There are two gardens, one of which is a bit like a small forest school with a mud kitchen, which our little one loves. Since day 1 heβs been so happy to be there with zero separation anxiety. Highly recommend to other parents who want something different to the usual nursery format.β
βMy 4 year old daughter attends Ballet at Starmakerz every week and she absolutely adores it. Every morning she asks βis it ballet today?β it is without doubt the highlight of her week. She was nervous to start with but Lisa and the team were amazing at encouraging her to give it a try and even offered us a second free trial, after which I could barely drag her away at the end! Really canβt recommend highly enough, even for the shy children itβs a brilliant confidence boost.β
βI havenβt looked back since I joined Forever. Richard is a genius. His teaching is excellent, second to none, itβs so absorbing, extensive and endless such as technique, balance, character of dance, turns, swivels, spirals, leading, following, the hold , posture, count, timing , hip rotation pendulum action, swing, sway , foot positioning etc covering the wide array of Latin American and Ballroom dances in International style.I am totally engrossed. Itβs of immense value to me. My friends and family have all commented that I have grown from strength to strength as a dancer in relatively short time 9 months and leaps and bounds compared to other places. Together with Jeni, I have all angles covered. Both are really attentive to the students in private classes and group classes to make sure we get it right, never taking their eyes off the ball, they donβt miss a thing. Itβs quite exceptional how they focus on men and women in equal measure. One revelation to me is learning how to dance beautifully with anyone of any experience or standard , whether an absolute beginner or an advance professional dancer. . The Gala, Cabaret and Medal Nights are so slick, setting, choreography, lighting, photography. Itβs so exciting to take part. One of the benefits of dancing, I find, is emotional and mental well-being which positively impacts all other areas of my life and which no medication can prescribe without serious side effects. The only serious side effect of this is becoming a FABULOUS DANCER.I am thrilled for myself that I am at Forever.β
βMy daughter has attended razzamataz for over 5 years now, in that time I've seen her confidence grow massively, she is always excited to go razz. She has made some great friends and loves her classes always excited for what their doing next she has had some great experiences since joining. Its a warm, friendly place. With great teachers that will love you're kids as much as you. A place where they can be given the chance to grow and develop.β
βWe love the Village School of Dance. The teachers are so good with the kids! Weβve had 4 teachers over the years and they were all brilliant with my daughter in so many ways. The quality of the teaching is greatβ they make sure the kids progress along the curriculum while still having fun. My daughter has taken ballet, tap, acro and jazz classes there and loves them all! I would very much recommend this school if you are looking for a serious yet friendly environment for your child to learn to dance. The show is also fantastic, something we all look forward to!β
βJust started my course at AYA and Iβm so impressed with the teaching style and atmosphere. I was so scared to start something like this in a group but everyone was welcoming and the tutor took time to watch us individually and guide us. Venue wise, my sat nav took me to the road before Oakley but I quickly realised to follow it around, taking two right turns and that brings you to the front of the South Norwood venue.β
βI just completed a fan veil course with Oloma, and it was marvellous. I learned a great deal and had fun at the same time. I hope Oloma will do a fan veil follow-on course at some point next year !β
βI recently went to a taster class and really liked it and have signed up for the next term. The teacher is lovely and there's a good mix of barre and dance! I've been going to adult beginners ballet classes for a while (Waterloo and dance buzz) and this is definitely my favourite so far because of the teacher, class size and variety of activity.β
