What a great experience! From the moment you walk in for the first time, to the moment you leave, you feel part of the 'family', and by that I mean past students who give up their time to help with the newbies. Collette and Robin are great, and help where help is needed, or just let you 'get on with it's and have fun! Big Thanks!
Fantastic class. The method is very well made, especially for people like us who have no basis of dancing. The music played is catchy and great to trialled the moves in rythm. Thanks to the friends and volunteers it s also great for singleton either throughout tje course or as one off due to their partner not available for specific classes.
We came here 20 years ago and learned to Jive with Robin & Colette at Maddys, they really are them most friendly fun teachers around. We came back again this year for two refresher courses and loved every minute. Having moved away from London, we travelled 40 miles each way to go to the best teachers & classes. If you want to learn to Jive, don't look any further.
I’m not a natural dancer and was nervous about joining this course. How wrong was I?! The atmosphere is really friendly and supportive and the teaching really clear. Things are kept very simple with plenty of repetition and re-caps so no-one gets left behind. And it was a load of fun! Chris
I completed the beginner and advanced classes over the summer and absolutely loved them! Colette and Robin were great at explaining each step of learning and we left feeling inspired watching them dance after their demonstrations! The class was a great size and everyone was very friendly and kind to us. Despite not knowing how to dance, by the end of the course I was shocked at how much I had learnt! They also helped introduce us to places we could keep practicing and dancing in London. It was a lovely part of the week to look forward to and I would absolutely recommend!!
