Great venue. We saw "This Is Your Panto!" which was hilarious - showcasing incredible improvisation, acting, singing, and musical talent.
I absolutely loved the performing songs improv course I did last summer and am really looking forward to doing more courses next year. The theatre has wonderful teachers and has created a really welcoming community.
Amazing!. The feature was "Bish Bash Bosh". Brought back memories of the UK version of Whose Line Is It Anyway. Fantastic, engrossing improv. Performers really talented, and committed to their characters seemed to enjoy it as well, lots of laughter, spontaneity, the soundtrack was brilliant. Such a great energy and atmosphere. Will definitely be revisiting
What a fun night! My first visit to The Improv theatre did not disappoint. The 4 performers were so skilful bringing in the stories of the audience to create a new comedy musical. The musicians also create music to fit the show, so impressive. I was laughing from start to finish, I will definitely be returning. It was a last minute booking I am so pleased to have made.
Lots of fun watching a monthly improvised ‘quiz show’. We enjoyed a drink at the bar before going into the theatre space. Bonkers and often brilliant. A few people were invited on stage but most people watched from the safety of the audience.
I've lived in Bristol for 13 years and had never heard of the Bristol Improv Theatre! I was looking for something to do for my birthday and stumbled upon the comedy night which my friends and I went to. What a cool little venue! Nice bar area, nice vibe, awesome staff and acts. Will be coming back!
My wife and I went to the 2022 Up The Antics New Year's Eve Party at the Theatre, nice space in a building much larger inside than you'd expect, cozy bar and three brilliant comedy acts. Recommend.
Always great fun to be had at Bristol Improv Theatre. Every show we’ve been to see has been so clever and incredibly funny. There’s a really welcoming and cosy bar to enjoy a few drinks before and after the show too. Definitely one of our favourite nights out in Bristol.
Cozy bar with a good selection of beverages. The show was great fun - really enjoyed how they mixed up the two halves by getting the cast to flex their improv muscles with different challenges. Musical accompaniment was also a very skilled, nice touch. All in all, a great night out full of laughs that was very much needed and thoroughly enjoyed!
As a regular visitor to the Bristol Improv theatre and I am never disappointed. A personal favourite is Bish bash Bosh, an improvised game show that is some how funny, silly and at the same time very clever. The theatre itself is a well presented cosy venue, with good facilities and a decent selection of drinks.
