I have a pilot's license from the USA and want to fly here in the Southwest. The folks at Bristol and Wessex quickly found the needed forms, got me signed up, and within a week, I was up in the air for some orientation flight. This place has a relaxed feel, good instructors, and good planes. I'm looking forward to doing more flying here.

Really disappointed. I spent £200 on a flying lesson for my husband. No voucher was received via email. I chased the company assuming perhaps I had missed the email in my junk folder, no response to my first email from the company. Chased for the second time and again no voucher was sent and no dates offered - they said I needed to call 47 days later (5 months after my initial purchase by this point). Now told I have waited too long and the voucher (which I didn't receive and chased for) has expired. What a con! I would not recommend this as a gift at all. If I could give 0 stars I would.

I booked a one hour flight experience for a 14 year old flight enthusiast. He has already flown in a sim and practices on video. But it was awesome that Martin let him communicate with the tower to request permission to taxi and then to let him fly over the nuclear installations at Hinckley Point and Glastonbury Tor and the Somerset Levels. It was a smooth flight and a dream come true for a budding pilot/flight engineer. Martin even took us over the last battle of the Civil War near Bridgewater and explained some of the history. There is also a cozy cafe while you await your flight.

Did a trial flying lesson with Ben. Ben was super professional along with the admin team. Cancelled a couple times due to weather but to be expected in the winter. I was asked if I wanted to just go up for sightseeing or imagine this was my first private pilot licence lesson. I spent maybe 80% of the time flying the plane myself, (didn't take off or land which again as an untrained pilot is probably to be expected) Did corners, ascend descends, bit of turbulence, trimmed the plane and generally got accustomed to the planes controls. 100% recommend for anyone considering a PPL or just fancy a fun experience.

Took my grandson for his first flying lesson. He loved it. The staff were amazing. So helpful. We ate there and the food was great. Best chips we'd had in a long time. Thank you to everyone who made this a wonderful experience.

Booked a flight experience for me and my partner. It was rescheduled a few times due to bad weather, but when it did happen it was magical! Our instructor Jonathan had a friendly vibe; calm and confident. We got to operate the controls for more parts of the flight than we were expecting which was great. When I was in the back seat I was sightseeing Bristol out a large window which was bliss. The lunch at the café was delicious. I had the chicken sandwich on fluffy white bread with chips and salad. Overall a perfect experience.
