Only going to review the Sports facilities as they are world class (and I can't comment on the university overall as I haven't attended haha)...Kids love using the world class indoor setup for Netball and the gym, weights and 50M pool are outstanding. Reminds me of US College Campus style setup, very open plan and great for teams and individuals to attend sessions.

I’m not actually a student at the University of Bath (not yet anyway!), but I first came here for sports competitions a while ago. That was my introduction to the city and the uni, and I always remembered it as being somewhere really special. Recently I came back to Bath, just to visit the city again, and as I was wandering around, I stumbled across the university once more. And wow. It honestly stopped me in my tracks how amazing it is. The whole place has such an inspiring energy. The campus is beautifully laid out, everything feels so open, welcoming, and full of life. I loved how green and spacious it is—you can tell it’s been designed with students in mind, but it doesn’t feel clinical or closed off at all. It’s got this perfect balance of being modern and impressive, while still feeling friendly and approachable. You can almost picture yourself studying, relaxing, training, and just living here all at once. I loved the atmosphere most of all. There’s something about Bath as a city already—it’s gorgeous, full of history, and has such a warm character. But then you add the university, and it’s like the city’s energy has its own dedicated hub for learning, sports, and community. You can tell the students here must have such a unique experience: surrounded by world-class facilities, yet only a short trip from one of the prettiest cities in the UK. For me, walking through the campus again completely cemented the thought I’d had before: this is somewhere I would love to be a part of in the future. Even though I’m not studying here yet, I could 100% imagine myself applying, getting involved in everything, and thriving in this environment. It’s one of those places that just feels right—you know immediately that it’s special. So yes, five stars without a doubt. The University of Bath left me inspired, excited, and definitely planning to put it down as a top choice when the time comes for applications.

The University of Bath is known for its strong academic programs, particularly in engineering, business, and sciences. It consistently ranks among the top universities in the UK and is praised for its excellent teaching, research output, and student satisfaction. The campus is modern and well-equipped, set on a scenic hillside with great amenities. Bath's strong industry connections provide students with good placement opportunities, especially in engineering and management. The student community is vibrant, and the city of Bath, a UNESCO World Heritage site, adds historical charm to student life. However, the cost of living in Bath can be relatively high. Overall, it's a great choice for students seeking both academic rigor and a balanced university experience.

Visited with my son for a self guided tour as he is considering going there. The facilities look amazing. It's a bit of a long walk from town. Some of the buildings are very dated, but overall looks good. Amazing sports facilities.

If you're after a university.. this place definitely foots the bill. All on one Campus outside of the city of Bath itself, and some lovely buildings and architecture, all pretty much purpose built.

Fantastic room standard. Happy friendly atmosphere. A bit of a 'hike' to and from Bath City centre but pleasant walking.

Went for comic con, it wasn't very well laid out as to where we had to park. When we did park, it was a short walk to a beautiful sports building. The staff were very polite and the building was exceptionally clean. Well done on all the work that went into a good day

Great open space, cows in warmer months and plenty of meadow flowers. Great place to walk the dog in any season or weather

  3. Janet Dunnett ★★★★★

Lovely clean and tidy. The staff couldn't be more helpful.
