“Simply an outstanding nursery. Smaller class size and attentitive, well experienced staff who clearly enjoy working together and with the children. My little boy has grown in confidence since his time with Apple Tree and has made some lovely friends. Such a unique setting with plenty of outdoor activities, regardless of the weather. The staff are very supportive, and because of the high ratio of teachers to children they have the time to provide quality care. Highly recommended.”

“My son has been at AppleTree Nursery for two years since he was 1 year old and he loves it there. It is a small environment where each child can be monitored and it known individually. although large enough to enable friendships and social interactions. The large garden allows for lots of exploration and fun in all seasons and the rabbits and chickens keep the children entertained. The staff are all lovely and caring and warm.”

“I have endless amazing things to say about this nursery! My little one had been in nursery from a year old but had reached a point where she was no longer happy and really did not enjoy going in. We moved her to Apple tree Montessori nursery and the change was instant! She LOVES it here! She hops in and barely bothers to say goodbye! I ask her about her day and she has a list of things to tell me, and the feedback from all the staff is amazing. They take the time to get to know the children so well. I really feel they enjoy the time spent with my little one rather then it being ‘just a job’. My daughters confidence is amazing since starting here as well and she has come along leaps and bounds, even with her appetite which we had struggled with previously. I would recommend this nursery to EVERYONE! I love it, and it makes me happy to see my daughter so happy and safe when she’s not with me. Thank you Montessori staff for being wonderful!”

“Both of my sons attended Robins after a recommendation from a good friend and my younger son is about to finish nursery and start school this September. My children both loved their time at Robins. It's a lovely cosy, intimate nursery, full of fun and laughter, home away from home. Each member of staff really get to know each child properly and form strong and secure relationships with them. They have created a such a lovely nurturing and supportive environment, where the children can grow as individuals. In the children's final year at nursery Robins, the staff are great at preparing the children for school. Not just things like being able to write their names but the really important things like the coping skill to deal with a new environment and the ability to deal with different expectations that school has of children. Robins don't just care for the children but the whole family. We've loved Robins and will greatly miss it!”

Lewes and Brighton Tai Chi School of Central Equilibrium offers authentic Tai Chi Chuan instruction in the heart of Lewes. The school provides a serene space for students to explore the ancient art of Taiji through dedicated practice. “Could not recommend this nursery more. My daughter can be quite needy and clingy and I was so worried about her never settling at nursery, but the incredible staff at the Whiteway centre have been so patient and caring with her that she settled so much quicker than I could have ever hoped for. The team there are amazing and the communication is excellent. I am so pleased with the progress she has made since starting there a few months ago and I know she will continue to thrive there. “Wet wet wet is the best swim school in all of Brighton! My kids love it here and have become strong and confident swimmers! The teachers are amazing and very attentive! “I’ve only been studying at TBA for a term now but I absolutely adore this place! I have learnt so much in my short time here! The faculty are all long time professionals that provide the highest quality training, the contact hours are unlike any other drama school I’ve seen and the facilities are great, there are 3 campus’ that are only a short distance apart, each campus has several large studios, changing rooms and private singing rooms. At TBA you are taught by your own principals multiple times a week, you get 2 one to one singing lessons a week and amazing opportunities to take part in a multitude of shows. If you are thinking of auditioning for TBA I’d say go for it! You’ve got nothing to loose and everything to gain! (Besides, they provide you with a free audition!)”

“Absolutely love this company. I joined 2 years ago and within that time my confidence has been lifted so much. I hadn’t done much dance at all before I joined, but now I have improved. All the staff are lovely and push you to be your best whilst still having fun. At her previous pre school she really struggled with socialising, crying at drop off etc, one month here and she runs in, can tell me all her friends names, staff names and animals. “What an amazing time, Myself and my wife took to the Sky's with Brighton Aviation, Peter and his wife made us feel very comfortable we had a quick briefing then went out to the Aircraft, we did our checks and away we went then before long i was flying by myself. Its a lot easier then you think, although Peter was by our side keeping an eye on things, We landed on the Isle of Wight and my wife felt so comfortable she flew back to Shoreham. We are both now considering doing our PPL, we will be booking more hours with Brighton Aviation very soon. JJ & DJ”

“My son didn’t enjoy going to regular school, and for two years it was a real challenge getting him ready every morning. But after we moved to Greenfields and started at the new school, I haven’t once heard, “I don’t want to go to school.” I also appreciate how the school nurtures and reinforces my child’s creative abilities. I love the practical lessons, such as gardening or forest classes, and lessons on happiness or helping parents. I’m also grateful that my child can have one-on-one sessions with the teacher when a topic is difficult or unclear.”

“When I started ballet as a 40 year old adult I assumed I would find a class in which we would just have a bit of fun and not really learn much and not be challenged. How wrong I was. At Brighton Ballet School vocational students and adults are treated the same. We are challenged to work hard, to push ourselves, to find the best of ourselves and to never accept the words "I can't". Taking exams is an wonderful added extra which allows us to see how far we have come in our dancing. And as well as all this - we also have fun and make new friends. If you just want to muck around for an hour then I'd suggest other places. But if you wish to have fun, get fit and strong and unleash your inner ballet dancer then this school is for you.”

“I cannot recommend Hopscotch nursery highly enough. Our daughter started attending when she was 20 months old. The team were incredibly supportive to both our daughter and us during the settling in process. Since starting, our daughter’s confidence as well as language development has been incredible. She absolutely loves going in and has built strong relationships with her key workers and other children. The team are very good at keeping us updated on activities and development. I particularly appreciate that I was encouraged to always call if I want to check in. It’s very reassuring knowing your child is in such safe and caring hands.”

“Such a lovely warm swimming pool. I can't stress enough how warm it was! None of this heated to 24C but actually feels like you're standing in a snow storm warm!! Really warm!! Much appreciated when bobbing around in the water. This is such a hidden gem of a place. Nice size pool suitable for adults and children alike. Swimming lessons for the kids. Swimming sessions for adults that are so empty at times that you might be fooled into thinking it's your own private pool. All at very reasonable prices. Highly recommended!”
