    Called in for a couple of pints at various times over the weekend. Saturday- Neptune Sunday- Northern Monk Both excellent brews . Always a nice atmosphere inside and out at the Beer School

    What a great bar and so friendly- just the three cask ales on but the Hoppy Christmas was superb- sorry I only had time for the one. What is it with toilets in Westhoughton? Third venue on the bounce where the loos are upstairs❗️. Train station 15 mins up the road.

    I visited this establishment because a friend was performing live music. I wasn't impressed. The seating is very cramped, and access to the bar and toilets is difficult as a consequence. Craft beers are fine as far as they go, but they don't serve any mainstream beers, and, at £5 for HALF A PINT, I'm afraid this was my first and last visit, as it's way outside my price range!

    Every time I visit this place it doesn't disappoint. Ales and wines tip top. Staff are lovely and friendly and the dogs don't get neglected either. Always a small treat in hand for our fur babies ❤️

    Excellent selection of high quality beers, ales and ciders on offer in a small but very friendly establishment. Excellent pub quiz on a Thursday night and a range of other activities and entertainment if you pick the right day to visit. Even if you don't want to be entertained, the choice of drinks alone make this place well worth a visit.
