Dance discovery is a welcoming, nurturing and inclusive dance school. My daughter is autistic and dyspraxic and has been included l, encouraged and loved since the moment she joined! The teachers always go above and beyond to help the children grow and develop in to confident dancers. I 100% reccommend anyone to join and become part of the dance family ❤️

My daughter Ella joined Dance Discovery towards the end of 2024. She first started at the hip hop class and now attends 3 classes a week because she enjoys it so much. Ella goes to Hip hop, commercial & acro and loves every class. She also took part in the winter dance show which was brilliant and she’s so excited to be in the upcoming summer show & now be in more dances on stage. You also get a discount for each additional class your child attends, really great. Claire & the other ladies are lovely and I highly recommend Dance Discovery for value for money, my child’s experience & how easy it is to manage payments and class information on the online portal. 5 stars!!
My daughter attends the hip hop class on a Wednesday and absolutely loves it. She had been to a few dance classes before here, but this is her favourite and looks forward to it weekly. The class is very current with songs that the girls know and what is even better is that the teachers listen to the girls and what they want to learn and help them, my daughter is delighted she can do a front hand spring with Miss Clare’s help. Would definitely recommend this class, just wish they would do one for adults!!
I love that this dance school is about the fun and enjoyment of dance. Each learner is taken on their own individual journey rather than trying to get everyone to the same destination. Participating in the show was a highlight for my children. Again the focus was fun but it encouraged confidence, independence and teamwork. I would highly recommend this dance school.
My daughter has been attending classes for around 9 months now and loving it. She had the opportunity to perform in the school’s dance show at the Brunton Theatre which I was so proud and amazed she had built the confidence to do! Definitely recommend Dance Discovery for their nurturing, fun, friendly style of teaching.
I have two children who attend multiple classes at Dance Discovery. They made a decision to join this school after spending many years with another school and I can say it was the best choice my children have made. They have found a new love for Dance and are back to having lots of fun with it which for us is what it’s all about. The teachers are so kind and make every effort to help and nurture each and every child in the same way. It’s such a pleasure to see my children happy when they dance and they love it so much they now bring it home and regularly put on a show for us which is a real treat. My son loves the Acro class as he can jump around and release some energy and he loved performing in the annual show. My daughter loves everything about this school, her friends, the amazing progress she’s making, and in particular she has her favourite class, Hip Hop. My children’s confidence has grown so much through the help and support of the teachers, they love to dance again and the social aspect is a huge benefit to them both not to mention the regular exercise. Thank you for being a great school and for taking such good care of our kids
My 4 year old daughter currently attends dance discovery and loves it. Always comes out smiling. The teachers and staff are a credit to themselves and also there performance at the brunton theatre was a major highlight a great time had by all seeing my girl on the stage was amazing. Can't recommend them highly enough give them a try
