The pasta and salad were delicious, and the drinks were tasty. The service was good, even though they made a couple of mistakes with our order, they quickly rectified them.
The food was absolutely delicious! Both the pasta and the risotto were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. The dishes came out really fast, and the overall experience was smooth and enjoyable. The service was warm and welcoming — HARIA was especially friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this place!
Stefan was an attentive waiter, very polite and friendly. Food was quick but hot, and wnough to satisfy you . Dessert was sublime , highly recommend the Mince Pie Cheesecake with Caramel sauce! When i explained we wished to share it came presented to share which was a lovely touch. Whenever we visit Edinburgh we always eat here, which can be around 6 - 7 times per year. If you're not sure of where to eat , go here!
My wife and I stopped in here for supper while walking along the Royal Mile. This place is busy! It is a rather large restaurant, but the tables fill the space for sure. The waitresses are hopping to get people seated and served. I will say they are very friendly and the service is fairly quick. They are very well organized to get people fed and on their way. The food was actually very good and hit the spot. I was a bit surprised to see a tip already on the bill. We normally tip anyways for good service, but I am not a fan of auto-tip. The bathroom is downstairs through what looks like an exit door at the back of the restaurant. If you can make a reservation, absolutely make it before coming. Overall a pretty good meal and appreciated the fresh parmesan cheese. Thanks.
The food is amazing! Casual Italian .. comfort food. You can never go wrong The chicken Milanese is highly recommended! The service depends on who’s serving your table, we came here twice, the first time wasn’t the best but the second time was good! Busy place in a touristic area
Great! The staff were so very friendly and very quick at getting us seated and fed. We asked for starters with food and they brought them out just as we asked the good needed a little more garlic, and the lasagna noodles were overcooked, but the bread was superb!!
Very good taste and price. Absolutely friendly waiters will be waiting for you there. For those who don’t eat pork you have to know all the beef sauce is mixed with pork so I couldn’t try the lasagna or the polonaise.
Another first! I'm writing the review in the place! What a shambles of a place. Management need to get their act together, this a pathetic experience of someone eating at Bella Italia for the first time. Dough balls with garlic butter is what we ordered, dough balls and garlic oil is what was served. We skipped mains because another customer complained about their meal, went for desert ordered chocolate brownies , got given caramel sauce which comes with the cookie dough, waited 5 mins for someone to come over, ended up going to them, they came back and said sorry we run out of chocolate sauce, isn't it better to tell the customer beforehand? Hope it improves, doubt it tho, manager on shift looks clueless.
