Food was okay and drinks were good. Service was inconsistent. We returned today without realizing we hadn’t paid for an item the previous day and immediately offered to pay. We were told clearly, “sorry, my mistake, don’t worry about it.” Later, the charge was added anyway, and when we pointed out multiple charges, this wasn’t acknowledged. Staff seemed more focused on chatting than managing the bar. With more attentive and mature service, this place could be much better.

Visiting from Dublin..Really lovely spot. Seated 6 of us. We stopped into to have a small bite for a break. Nice staff and lovely place. Also very clean toilets which is the mark of any pub/restaurant. Everyone happy with their food. Massive fish n chips. I advise any beer drinkers to try the Innis & Gun local Lager. I stayed on it for the weekend. Really nice.

Great experience all around. The young ladies managing and serving were super nice, food was really good, a good number of beer choices and fun live music. We were very happy with our choice. I really enjoyed my Bangers and Mash and my wife her fish and chips. The Sticky Toffee Pudding was a great dessert option to finish out with. Highly recommend all.

The food was excellent. We got the namesake burgers. One complaint was that they were so massive we had to deconstruct them to be able to fit them in our mouths. The fries were great, the salad and coleslaw were good too. We got a cocktail, and espresso, and a Guinness which were all perfect. Overall great food and service.

Henry was a fab bloke who checked in on all of our scrumptious meals and even gave us discounted desserts. Great atmosphere, lovely staff, good beers. Will come back when I make the trek from Australia again. Cheers!

Really nice bar to vist with great staff and equally good food. Service is spot on with great attitudes towards the customer. In these pics is Chicken stuffed with Haggis and whiskey sauce and the Mexican burger with spicy cheese and fries. Huge well done top spot to eat and enjoy a drink.

Tried both kinds of fried haggis there, the original and the veggie one. They were both delicious. The service was excellent and the ambiance is cozy. The fish and chips had generous amount of fish, which I enjoyed.

I absolutely loved loved loved this bar. We went in by chance, just because we were hungry and it looked good. But never did we imagine we would love it so much. We had a Gin and tonic (Scottish Gin) a beer, but the food, now that is the most important thing. Bangers with mashed potatoes and Yorkshire pudding and fried Haggis. We highly recommend it and will come back for sure. Do not miss it! It's absolutely brilliant
