βFantastic indoor climbing and great gym. Staff super friendly. I will definitely go back in my next visit to Edinburgh!β
βGreat swimming experience. Clean and Covid-safe changing environment, well managed. Nice water temperature and pool depth. Good range of lane speeds, would recommend now that we can use pools again!β
βVariety of classes. Staff and instructors lovelyβ
βMy boy has a weekly football training class here. I've not been round the while building but what I have seen is pretty impressive. Everything looks very modern and clean.β
βIβve been going there for adult swim lessons for over a year. Thomas is the best swim coach Iβve ever had. Iβve had many lessons for the past many years but nobody can match Thomas. I came from deep trauma of being in water. Thomas has helped me progress from zero to now capable of being confident in water (not deep water yet) by myself while learning techniques to swim. I consider myself the most difficult swim student. Heβs very patient, resourceful, funny and 100% great in coaching non-swimmers. Their management also gave me a trial day pass for the gym and allowed me to use their gym one other day while my usual sports centre was closed for refurbishment. I have only great things to say about them. Fully recommend the centre.β
βBeen a member for many years and canβt fault Nuffield Fountain Park. Excellent facilities and really friendly staff. Decent size pool, well equipped gym and regular classes. The health club is run very efficiently by management who are always responsive to any concerns / issues. Very relaxed atmosphere and always look forward to my visit. Big shout out to Manya and Leandro for your excellent customer service, friendliness and warm welcomes every time I visit. The freshly squeezed orange juice from the cafe is amazing. Keep up the good work all and well done.β

βI can thoroughly recommend Claire. I consulted her over several months for a sore shoulder. Claire helped it get better via hands on treatment and a suite of online excercises. The fact that they are online was good as it let you see how to do the exercises correctly. I would happily consult Claire again, should the need arise.β
βPrime Physio has been such a great help in providing excellent treatment for various muscular issues. On the few occasions visited I've always found Lisa's care and delivery of treatment plans as outstanding. I can't highly recommend Prime Sports Physiotherapy & Wellbeing enough!β
βI started Kuk Sool Won in March as a way to take my mind of the stresses of work. I was quickly made to feel really welcome by everyone especially the instruction team. After a few months I decided to bring my 2 very different kids along which was a great move! They both love it! One is more athletic so loves that element of it while the other is more sensitive who really enjoys learning the techniques and forms. For us it has meant we can all share something positive and we even occasionally have kuk sool play fights so it's been great to bring us together. I struggled to get "the sensitive one" into any activity so the fact that he has taken to Kuk sool has been great from a parents point of view to see the development in him over the past few months has been really positive. I couldn't recommend highly enough from an individual, family or kids perspective there is something for everyone.β
βAppin have been excellent to deal with from start to finish. Lots of support and guidance as we designed our clubs kits, plenty of updates as we progressed the order and excellent follow-up as well. Sophie has been great to work with and we'll be recommending Appin to everyone.β
βThe team at the Mayfield branch has been fantastic in helping me recover from various injuries and general wear and tear. They have all been very warm and friendly with extensive knowledge in physiotherapy and massage. Their model compared to others is very refreshing, and I really appreciate their online booking system and late night and Saturday sessions which makes finding and booking a session, very easy. A great physio and I think you would struggle to find better, across Edinburgh.β
βWeβve been doing the weekend outdoor classes with our 5 year old. Chris is a brilliant coach: friendly, inclusive, adaptive to all levels (me = extreme beginner and scaredy-cat and yetβ¦ I love it). Our kid is loving lessons, itβs helping him gain confidence and resilience, and most importantly heβs having fun doing it :)β
βLovely staff, nice cafe next doorβ

βAmazing range of equipment from toddlers to pre teensβ
βSuper friendly club Pro and a great little shop with some really well priced merchandise.β
βVery nice, clean, modern leisure clean thatβs part of the golf complex. Good sized sauna and steam room. The pool is really warm too. Can be busy just after school time but there are adults only times too. Friendly staff tooβ
βQuick and easy entry with the prebooking. Parking was straightforward. Not heaving with people when we went, so there wasnt any jostling. Clean. Good value for money and straight forward snacky food upstairs. I recommend if you have some kiddos needing to blow off some physical steam!β
βThe gym is excellent. Equipment very high tech but easy to use. Changing rooms nice and clean and staff really lovely. Hairdryer button is hidden at the back. Not much space makes it difficult to get dressed in the shower cubicle. Quiet at lunch times.β
βLove this pool, me and my children come here often, the wave pool is great and the slide is fun. I like how it slopes from shallow to deep, suitable for babies and great swimmers. Showers are good and loads changing rooms. Kids area has little play parts in the pool.β
βHonestly this pool is a hidden gem in the middle of Edinburgh tucked conveniently behind Haymarket Station. I went at 9am on Sunday morning and was surprised at how busy it was. The group of older gents in the early morning queue were super friendly and jolly and I had a nice laugh with one of them about the lockers and someone stealing his shoes (kids, joking). The pool itself is clean and bright and the space is lovely. On poolside changing which is a nod to the victorian baths. Poolside was really clean. Five lanes catering for different speeds. Let me use my finger paddles which was cool. Showers fine on poolside. The other swimmers were lovely, the lifeguard waved goodbye to me when I left. Iβve rarely been in a nicer friendlier environment. The ONLY downside was the steps to get into the pool were really odd and wouldnβt fit someone with not great mobility to get in and out. There was a brilliant cafe near by for my post swim breakfast. Iβll definitely be back when I next visit Edinburgh. Wonderful.β
βI always buy a weekly visitors pass to swim at Glenogle when I visit Edinburgh. Fantastic Victorian pool with sauna and steam room, run by friendly and helpful staff. A hidden gem that I would highly recommend!β
βReally helpful staff. Decent weights area and great facilities. Cant fault it for leisure centre.β
βGreat gym with loads of equipment & plenty of space. Cafe on site & plenty of parking. Changing rooms are good, but a little difficult to find if you don't know where they are, signage isn't great, but overall a great gymβ
