“I had treatment with Rob for a hip injury and he was fantastic. He created personalised plans, always explained everything clearly and checked in on my progress at each appointment. I had a marathon coming up that I didn’t think I’d be able to run but he supported my recovery throughout. He adapted exercises to suit me and gave targeted advice that really helped my recovery. Would highly recommend!”

“"I've been a member of Nuffield Health Milngavie Fitness & Wellbeing Gym for a while now, and I must say, it's an exceptional facility. The staff are friendly and helpful, always willing to lend a hand or offer advice. The gym is well-equipped with state-of-the-art Technogym equipment, and the group fitness classes are fantastic. The real highlight, though, is the racquets section. With five indoor carpet courts, four outdoor artificial clay courts, and a fully indoor padel court, it's a haven for tennis and padel enthusiasts. The junior tennis coaching program is also top-notch, with expert coaches guiding kids through various stages of development. The facilities are impeccably maintained, and the café serves great coffee and food. I've had some wonderful experiences with the staff, particularly Jayden and Ruaridh, who went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Overall, I highly recommend Nuffield Health Milngavie Fitness & Wellbeing Gym to anyone looking for a comprehensive fitness experience. It's a bit pricey, but trust me, it's worth every penny!”

“Great experience. Loved the atmosphere. It's not common that you can take your 3 year old kid to a football game so being able to enjoy a football game where my kid can play about, where there are other kids and not constant swearing is nice. Everyone is friendly and respectful, lots of space, very welcoming. Very nice to see the kids playing with footballers after the game”

“I was a member of the University of Glasgow Sports Centre for about two years, and looking back, I genuinely appreciate how lucky we were to train there. While there were areas that could use refurbishment – such as the male changing rooms on the 3rd floor and occasional issues with the sauna and steam room – the overall offering was nothing short of world class. The gym featured ELEIKO plates, proper strength training equipment, and an incredible 14 or so squat platforms. Yes – that many, and all of them from ESP. That alone puts it far above most commercial gyms. And all of this was available at a fraction of the price you'd pay elsewhere. In London or the surrounding areas, you'd need to shell out around £250 per month at a place like David Lloyd to get access to similar facilities – if you can find them at all. So to any students, staff, or members of the public currently training there: make the most of it. The University of Glasgow Sports Centre is a serious facility, and you may not realise how special it is until you move away.”

“I have had the most incredible experience with the Nuffield Health Joint Pain Programme, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was met with such warmth and professionalism. What really stands out is the personalized attention and genuine care the staff show. The reception staff, Zara and Leona, greet you with smiles and by name and make me feel right at home. They are both so friendly and approachable, and they take great care of you while you are in the centre. Callum Hunter, my Wellbeing Personal Trainer, was absolutely fantastic. His knowledge and expertise in managing joint pain were evident from the start. He took the time to understand my specific needs and tailored a programme that worked for me. His encouragement and support made a huge difference in my progress. I felt like I was in great hands throughout the entire process. There are a variety of classes offered at Nuffield Health which are run by professional, highly knowledgeable trainers who not only bring energy and motivation to every session but also take the time to ensure that each participant is working safely and effectively. Each class is thoughtfully structured to challenge you while still being accessible to different fitness levels. The trainers are clearly passionate about what they do—they offer great technique tips, modifications when needed, and constant encouragement throughout. I also want to give a special mention to the gym staff, including Leo, Craig, and Katie. They are always willing to offer helpful tips, demonstrate exercises, and provide guidance whenever needed. They truly go above and beyond to ensure you are comfortable and safe during your time in the gym. The level of engagement with the staff makes a huge difference and keeps me motivated to keep coming back.”

“I’ve been to a lot of physios over the years, but this is the first time I’ve felt genuinely understood and properly assessed as a runner. Jonny is an ultrarunner himself, so he knows exactly what runners go through, and his advice is practical, specific, and actually works. The plan he gave me was tailored to my goals, my mileage, and my upcoming races, and I felt improvements almost immediately. If you’re a runner dealing with a stubborn injury or just want an expert who actually cares and knows what he’s doing, go see Jonny Kilpatrick the right person to see. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.”

“My 5yo son has been enjoying coming to Taekwondo . The owners are professional, kind and very knowledgeable with really good customer service skills. The coaches/trainers are really good with kids, they make the class fun for the kids, my son always looking forward to go. All staff possess amazing verbal skills to engage kids in the exercises, they have patience and take their time with kids. Mrs McGowan was very supportive and kind when my son was scared to start Taekwondo and helped my son overcome his fears. There is a waiting room for parents to watch their kids on tv, plenty of seats, changing room and toilets. The kids receive a booklet to track their taekwondo progress, it’s tailored for their age and filling it out and learning from it with my son is exciting. I found that there are plenty of classes running so parents can manage to take the kids along whenever suits. There are adult’s taekwondo and fitness classes too, which I may explore in the near future. Parking is ample and easy to get to.”
