“We had a wonderful stay in Dreamwood Cottage. Everything was exactly as described, very well equiped and the cottage is in the perfect location - easy to access, a 30 mins walk to the Loch and in the proximity of some beautiful hills! Elaine and her family were extremely accommodating and made some great recommendations for walks, swims and daytime activities! We would love to visit again in the future, 3 days was not long enough!”

“Lovely B&B. Paul and Mabel hosted us like my parents would have. The room was clean. Breakfast was delicious. They also told us lovely spot to watch the sunset.”

“We had a lovely short break at the Byre. The cottage is very comfortable ,well equipped and spotlessly clean.The upstairs lounge is a lovely room to relax in. Booking was straightforward and Amanda was very helpful .”

“We stayed in the Macallan for a week. Loved it. Highly recommend any of the cottages as we have stayed before. The Macallan has a great 180 degree panoramic view across to Glasgow, Erskine, Old Kilpatrick and the Clyde; so chuffed to catch sight of the Waverley paddle steamer heading ‘doon the watter’. Great location for getting to both the city and the countryside. The accommodation is excellent, very well equipped (better than most holiday cottages we have stayed in), very spacious - bathroom with good wide shower, comfortable beds, and bright open plan living room. There is a separate utility room which houses your own freezer, washing machine, and cleaning goods cupboard. Good car parking, including electric car charging. The road to the cottages is single track and shared with walkers and bikers, so best stop and give room. Highly recommend.”

“Fabulous, friendly bed and breakfast. Nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast is superb with cereals, full cooked Scottish breakfast, toast, jams, marmalade etc. or simple boiled or poached eggs. Rooms are clean, beautifully presented with tea and coffee facilities, TV, etc. We enjoyed 3 nights here and will be back again. Thank you, Sandy and Cathy for making us so welcome.”

“Went to Cottage 10 as a group of 13 people for an 80th Birthday celebration. The staff were VERY friendly and accommodating. They moved tables around so that we could all sit together. Food was served in a very timely manner and was very nice and tasteful. The gents came out with the cake and sang along to Happy Birthday with us, then provided a knife and plates. Everyone in the party left full and happy. We didn't realise before visiting that alcohol is not served , but that wasn't an issue for us. Music was playing in the background and was at a low enough level to hear it, but didn't effect people having a conversation across the table or a few chairs away”
