“Our stay in Circus Lane was ideal. We have stayed in many self catering properties and this one certainly rates in the top three. Everything you needed to make your stay comfortable. We were met on arrival and shown where everything was. Many thanks for the flowers, lovely touch. Property was spotless and bed very comfortable . En suite shower superb. Situated within a few minutes walk to the shops and restaurants and walks along the river. Not far from the Botanical Gardens. Frequent buses if needed. Thank you Great Base, would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends.”

“We couldn't have wished for a more beautiful location to stay. The cottage was very private and full of charm, with enclosed garden for our little dog. The amenities were comfortable and clean, it was a short drive to the nearest shops or Edinburgh park and ride. The WiFi was excellent (both of us worked remotely with no issues). The surrounding property was like something out of Beatrix Potter, with lots of walks and wildlife. We can't wait to return!”

“Perfect stag accommodation. 14 guys in total, mostly from Trinidad, had a great time. Staff super friendly and made sure everything ran smooth providing taxis when needed. 24 hour access, great sound system, pool & football table, and two poles on the stage. What's not to like?!?!”

“Perfect holiday experience. Williamscraig is a set of several high spec holiday homes. 8 of our family stayed in Laurel cottage. It was spacious, well equipped and the beds were very comfy. There was plenty of parking. We made use of the hottub every night, explored the beautiful, peaceful surroundings on foot, and got to feed the gorgeous Highland cows. The town of Linlithgow was a lovely surprise including the stunning castle and St. Micheal's church. The regular trains from Linlithgow station meant Edinburgh and Glasgow are within easy reach for visiting.”

“Excellent reception! Although we arrived early, they welcomed us warmly and prepared the rooms for us. They even upgraded our room, which was a wonderful surprise. “Spent the weekend here with our family, excellent accommodation, plenty of space for the grandchildren to play, especially the outside area. The house was in a secluded area with beautiful views and the sheep in the field added to the enjoyment of the kids, would certainly recommend.”

“I stayed in Dickens properties twice this year for 7 weeks in total. From the support with booking and payment, the high standard of maintenance, white goods, furnishings and decor of the flats and the communication regarding my deposit being returned (no issues with it being returned in full) I can recommend Dickens as reliable and upfront. Questions on the property after check in were answered quickly. Will definitely come back and stay either of the two flats I stayed in this year.”

“Treasure Cottage is one of the best Chinese Takeaways in West Edinburgh City. The food is super tasty, the portion sizes are generous, the prices are reasonable, every order has been fantastic! I love that you have the option to have wet or dry food, some places don't offer that. The sweet and sour sauce is a bit too sweet and artificial, it would be nice to have a homemade one with white onions in it as it's very chemically. The Satay sauce could be a bit thicker too, just my opinion/suggestion. Apart from that we always have a great takeaway from here and we would highly recommend! Delivery times are usually around 60-90 minutes so best to order early but obviously it's changes depending on where you live etc.”

“My wife and I treated our adult children and their partners to a European trip with our first stop being Edinburgh, where we stayed at the Edinburgh Address / Adore Scotland location. The apartment was exactly as described and our whole family loved our stay! I highly recommend this location!!”

“We were meant to stay Monday to Friday. Had to leave yesterday, after only two nights, due to husbands health. We were gutted. This place is stunning. We walked into to warmth and the place is scented beautifully. Everything is supplied but kitchen scales! I am not joking. Coffee, tea bags, sugar, a pint of milk, carton of orange juice, some gorgesous welcoming maple and pecan slices. Everything else you need apart from your food. Fabulous home from home. The Cramond Inn around the corner is a lovely pub and is bans Digital items. So encorages conversation which is also lovely. I was so sad to leave. But needs must. We will be booking again. Though we don't know when. Thank you x Only down side is that you are on the flight path from Edinburgh airport and its VERY noisy!”
