“A lovely cottage in a very quiet location with splendid views. Very comfortable, well presented and spacious accomodation, with a log burner in the lounge, and excellent range cooker in the kitchen. Spacious main bedroom with very comfortable bed, and well equiped bathroom. Very suitable for dog owners with footpaths on the doorstep. We shall certainly return.”

“We booked The Mews and The South Cottage for 5 nights for our wedding. The cottages were spotless, the interiors were beautiful and the views and ground of the cottages were stunning. It felt like homely luxury! The layout worked really well in terms of the number of bathrooms etc. It was the perfect place to get family and bridesmaids together before the wedding and such a beautiful place to get ready on the wedding morning itself. “Another wonderful stay at the beautiful Rushop Hall this Easter holidays. We'd previously stayed here twice before in the bedrooms above the dining area of which both rooms were relaxing, comfortable and beautifully decorated. This time we'd decided to try the Pepper Pot, and we were blown away with the high standard. Particularly the attention to detail of this little cottage and the sheer comfort it provided us for our two night stay. Jan & Neil are amazing hosts, and provide you with exceptional customer service. Which has the right balance of being very welcoming but allowing you, your personal space-Really love this about them. Nothing is never too much trouble, so please ask them! Breakfast is delicious and beautifully cooked. Loved the additional fresh fruit & yogurt etc. Location is perfect, remote and relaxing with stunning views. Perfect surroundings for a wonderful nights sleep and of course beautiful views to wake up to in the morning. Thank you for making our stay just as delightful as it was 7 years ago. “Great location. Lots of lovely places to eat and drink in walking distance. Very close to city centre. Couldn’t really be better in that respect. Despite being very busy location didn’t notice any noise. Property itself was exactly as pictured and what we were expecting. Very rustic vibes. Majority of what you would need is provided. Several comments made previously about codes - very clear to follow instructions sent and we had no bother with this. Few points though. Bed wasn’t the comfiest ever. Rather hard mattress. There wasn’t any toilet roll provided which is the first I’ve had that - there is a Sainsbury’s within 2 minute walk. There had clearly been a leak recently in the entrance hallway, which did mean there was some mould growing., with a rather bad smell. Could at times smell in flat especially when heating was on. Of note, there is quite a few stairs - we had no bother but just for people with limited mobility to be conscious of this. Great and proactive host.”

“This was our second visit to Kerridge End and we had another comfortable stay in The Hayloft. Good facilities for a wheelchair user with a lovely wetroom and shower chair provided. Very well equipped cottage having everything we needed. A lovely hamper was left for us on arrival and a delicious plate of homemade scones and jam too. Plenty of places to visit in the area.”

“Sue & the team provided a lovely buffet my mum's 70th birthday, plenty of selection. Their service is efficient and will go ubove & beyond to any requests ie dietary, selection, delivery etc. Also followed by calls to check everything is ok etc. Sue takes pride in providing the best customer service. I would certainly recommend. Every guest commented on the quality and variety of the food provided. Thankyou x”

“The staff at Broom Cottage are so reliable, friendly and helpful. Our lil cat, Ico, has been really poorly recently and they have been so patient, caring and reassuring with him and with us. We really have appreciated their efforts and kindness as he means the absolute world to us. We feel we can trust them with our most precious little boy. It's been overwhelming for us recently but they have taken the time to explain everything and all options to us thoroughly and have worked with us to get him on the road to recovery. Elm Cottage is the most amazing place for nurturing children and helping them thrive... both my children who are now 5 and 7 still talk about Elm Cottage and how much they miss the staff ❤️ we are so lucky that we sent our kids here and will be forever grateful to all the amazing staff for looking after our 2 kiddos so well over the years xx”

Owners, Judith and David, were very helpful and quick to respond to any requests. We were welcomed with a Christmas tree, flowers and tasty treats. The cottage is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The location of the cottage is excellent - close to pubs, restaurants, grocery stores and tram to Manchester City Centre. The great WiFi access was important for us to keep in touch. It's very spacious as we hosted dinner for 15 people. I would highly recommended this cottage to anyone needing to stay near Manchester.”

“Me and some friends booked this place for a reunion weekend. The booking process was really easy and communication after booking was spot on. The place was really easy to find and our unit was absolutely beautiful. The hot tub was ready to go and the owner showed us how to use it. The kitchen was really well equipped for cooking and the attention to detail in the entire place was amazing. It was also immaculately clean. “Lovely farmhouse stay, on Smallholding close to Whaley Bridge and a good location to explore the Peak District from. Cosy log burning stoves in both dining/kitchen and living room. All clean and tastefully decorated. Nice little garden and spectacular outlook. Owners are friendly and helpful.”
