Lovely farmhouse stay, on Smallholding close to Whaley Bridge and a good location to explore the Peak District from. Cosy log burning stoves in both dining/kitchen and living room. All clean and tastefully decorated. Nice little garden and spectacular outlook. Owners are friendly and helpful.

Very rural , narrow roads and access to farm cottages, spacious cottage, ideal for walkers, several pubs in village of Whaley Bridge but only one The Cock inn serves food and dog friendly, Buxton and Bakewell half hour drive and both worth the journey .

Had a wonderful stay in Ivy Cottage, great base to explore and its only a 5 minutes walk into Whaley Bridge, so close to A6 and adventures await

Enjoyed our stay here, we had everything we needed. Although the cottage is only a 5 minute walk from Whaley Bridge you feel in the middle of the countryside, with views across the valley. Plenty of lovely walks nearby

Great location, incredibly clean and comfortable cottage. Great base for exploring Peak District. Hopefully we get to return as had to cut short our trip due to a family emergency.

Absolutely fabulous cottage. Nice easy walk down into Whaley Bridge. Some nice walks nearby or a 20 minute train ride into Buxton. We were blessed with fabulous weather. The cottage is immaculate. Such a chilled put place. We're already looking to book it again
