“Eastwood Clinic is a clean and welcoming place, as soon as you walk through the door there is a friendly atmosphere from all the staff. The service is very efficient and the practitioners operate in a professional but personable way. As an English person I had no understanding or experience of Chinese medical practises before I came to Eastwood. I have a number of health conditions that I heard acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine could really help to improve. I didn't know what to expect when I first went to the clinic, Dr Venus Lai gave me a very thorough consultation and explained to me my health condition in Chinese Medical terms, I was very impressed by the detailed analysis of my health and Dr Lai was very patient to answer all of my questions. I then received acupuncture treatment which I was very interested (and a little bit nervous to try!) Dr Lai (or Dr Kidney as she is known!) talked me through each step as she applied needles to specific points (first in my legs and feet) that were appropriate to improve my specific health issues. I was then left to relax and let the needles take effect on my nervous system and improve my blood circulation. I was so relaxed that I fell asleep! Since then I have been going back regularly to Eastwood clinic and have seen an improvement in my health, particularly to my blood circulation. Together with a regular prescription of herbal medicine and acupuncture treatment I have noticed a significant change in my condition.
