I needed an urgent extraction and was referred to Pennyblack Dental by NHS 111. An appointment was arranged within an hour. The dental practice is very clean, very well arranged .. with modern minimalist styling. The treatment was very straightforward and successful. I experienced little pain (except the local anaesthetic injections). The treatment took around 20 minutes and was inexpensive. The female dentist and her assistant were both extremely pleasant, courteous and approachable. I had a couple of questions which were answered straightforwardly and in an understanding, sympathetic manner. I was required to register with Pennyblack before the treatment.. which I completed online via my iPad while waiting for the treatment. There was a little, understandable delay between the arranged appointment time and the actual treatment.. which caused me no problems. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Pennyblack Dental. A first rate, clean, efficient and thoroughly sympathetic service.
I have been going to Dr Khan for years and he always takes his time to check your ok and explain everything. I had 2 fillings yesterday and was a little nervous about the injections and he was very gentle and it was much better than i thought it would be. Lovely dentist thankyou again
I have been looked after by Dr Khan for almost 20 years. I have the utmost confidence in both him and the practice - everything is explained fully, if any treatment is required over and above a normal checkup then every X-ray, step etc is explained as well as what is required. All of the staff are friendly and professional and it doesn’t feel like the dreaded dentist when you visit! My elderly father has recently transferred to Mr Khans care and he is thrilled to finally be receiving 5* care for his teeth without the hard sell and appalling treatment he was receiving at his previous practice.

This is the best Dentist I’ve ever had in my life, everyone from the receptionist to the dental nurses are so lovely and really accommodating. I’ve been to see Mr Assad Khan twice now and I’ve never felt so comfortable seeing a dentist, if your thinking of going here just do it I promise you won’t be disappointed. I was guided in lots of detail through all the work I had done and felt very relaxed. I feel 5⭐️ is not enough for the team at Pennyblack/Meridian, all the staff are lovely and helpful. My wife, myself and two sons are all patients here and extremely happy. If you need an emergency appointment they always seem to fit you in often working late with a smile on their face. Dr Khan really helped out with my sons referral to the orthodontist which sped things up for him. I have recently needed treatment myself and have to say the level of service I received has been fantastic, 3 times fitting me in the same day. We can't recommend Meridian highly enough, it's 10⭐️ for us. Thank you.
Absolutely wonderful!! This is such a fabulous dental practice, it's a beautiful new surgery, but it's the people that make it such a special place. Everyone goes out of their way to be so kind, pleasant and helpful, they are a wonderful team. The level of dentistry is wonderful too, Mr Khan is so patient, professional and skilled. I honestly hope I never have to go anywhere else.
Recently had 2 implants, they look amazing! The dentist/specialist was really thorough, fully explained and most importantly made me feel at ease as I was a nervous patient. The implants look so natural, perfect colour match. Received lots of fab comments from friends and family. Would highly recommend, it does take time but it’s the only way to get it right and well worth the wait, I feel great! Thank you, happy smiling!
I was seeing Dr Khan at his previous practice, with the onset of the pandemic however I lost him! I found him again at his new practice and I was so relieved. He has to be the best dentist ever with the nicest staff. He explains everything in detail that he is going to do & he’s so reassuring and kind. He removes any fear totally and the dread of going to the dentist has gone. Upstairs in the surgery is Dr Claire Manley, I saw her for an emergency appointment and she was just so lovely and kind also, she rescued me from so much pain for which I am eternally grateful. Dr Khan also has the most lovely dental nurses and from booking in, calling on the phone or any contact with anyone in the practice it’s all just a lovely experience. Thank you, to you all. Caroline.
