“I'm delighted to have found this dental practice and Stefania as my new dentist. From day one, when I walked into reception to ask for availability, I felt immediately at ease. I already had an initial appointment with Stefania, which was incredibly thorough, then an appointment with an hygienist and a filling done with Stefania, after she carefully reviewed and compared my last x-ray with the one one she had taken at my initial appointment. Being a nervous and sensitive patient, I was surprised at how much calmer I was before coming to my filling appointment, when I'm normally extremely anxious. While I can't say I enjoy going to the dentist, I can say I was not that bothered to go in though, which says a lot. Thanks a lot for your 5 star service.”

“Outstanding Implant Care from Dr Ferhan and Kasia I had what could have been a very complicated and costly complication during an implant crown fitting at another practice in Edinburgh, where the screw unfortunately fractured inside the implant. As a dentist myself, I knew how technically challenging it is to remove a broken screw from within an implant and that it would require a highly skilled surgeon. I contacted Edinburgh Dental and was offered a same-day appointment. From the moment I arrived, the professionalism of the entire team was evident. I was seen by Dr Ferhan, whom I knew through my colleges years but had never met in person before. His expertise, calm approach and precision were truly exceptional. He successfully removed the broken screw and arranged for a replacement. Today I returned for the fitting of the new screw and crown, assisted by Kasia. The appointment was smooth, efficient and completed within 15 minutes. The result is excellent – my crown is perfectly fitted and feels completely natural again. “I had some issues with the clinic a couple of years ago. They cancelled a few appointments but, to me, they are doing much better now. I would like to highlight Harry Charitoudis as he has done great with my kids (6&9). They both had teeth that needed to be removed and he did it great. My daughter was so afraid and he was explaining what he was doing along the process so she could know what was going on. He stopped after the anesthesia to make sure that she was fine and could continue giving her the reassurance that she needed. “I had 20 years worth of trauma to my front tooth after a childhood accident which led to my teeth breaking and requiring fillings. The past year I began to notice discomfort with the tooth and decided to get it seen to - I was advised to get root canal treatment and wasn’t sure whether this would have to be carried out by a specialist or not. I then developed a severe dental abscess last month on said tooth, and after antibiotics I still experienced pain. I came into the practice for an emergency appointment with Sally Keenan and honestly couldn’t thank her more. I assumed I would be sent away again with antibiotics until I could get root canal treatment, however, Sally confidently offered to fix the problem (abscess) for me then and there. I experienced no further pain or complications and felt very at ease with Sally, completely confident in her ability to help me. I then requested Sally for my root canal treatment which I had done today. The experience itself was fantastic, I felt as at ease as I possibly could be! She allows you to feel in control, which is lovely when it is such a vulnerable position to be in. I can safely say I experienced no pain, and now the numbness has subsided, my tooth feels incredible! This is the first dentist that I have ever had full confidence in, and actually felt that they cared about my teeth and overall dental health. I couldn’t recommend Sally enough. Thank you again!”
