   I was looking for a provider that offered teeth straightening aligners, and I had a very good consultation with Dr Chris Fowles at Inverleith Dental, but then things got bizarre. I had also been in touch with some other providers, so as part of my comparison and due diligence, I was asking them some further questions before making a final decision. I asked Inverleith if there was any negotiation on price, which there wasn't, and if they could provide any guarantees, which they couldn't. This was understandable, and I appreciated their honesty, particularly when the aligners they offer are manufactured by a new company. However, I then received emails from them saying that since price was my primary concern, and that I expected guaranteed results, that I should pursue another provider. This was such an odd response as they were putting words into my mouth. I had asked if there was any price flexibility and if any guarantees were offered, but I never said that price was my primary concern or that I expected guaranteed results. This was such a shame as, after comparing all the options, I decided that I wanted to go ahead with, Inverleith, which was largely due to my confidence in Dr Fowles, and the quality of service I felt he would provide. Inverleith seems like it could be a good practice, and they have mostly very good reviews, but from my experience, they have a very strange approach to customer relations. It seems like they have some management and communication issues to iron out.

   Pleasant Professional Experience All Round. Being a very anxious patient I found that John my Dentist welcomed me and explained what he was going to do. I had x rays and 3D imaging and the results were explained in an easy to follow format with a treatment plan. The Reception Staff were Fantastic and Helpful much beyond my Expectations. Thank You.

   I recently visited Inverleith dental for Invisalign teeth straightening and the experience was excellent from start to finish. I really appreciate how patient and knowledgeable the dentist was. He explained everything clearly, which helped put me at ease. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I would recommend to anyone considering Invisalign.

Furthermore, Pedro is also so good at putting you at ease in a way that all apprehensions and nerves go away. No hesitation in recommending the Practice and Pedro to everyone.

   I recently completed a fairly comprehensive package of treatment across some 3 months, with a number of protracted sessions in the chair, as many of my aged heavily-filled molars were cleverly porcelain-capped. Brilliant work, delicately, patiently and very professionally undertaken by highly skilled staff who exuded friendly reassurance throughout the sustained work. As ever at the practice, from the welcoming reception staff, the practical, hygienic and comfortable surroundings, the many visits involved were fufilled with significant pleasure despite the underlying apprehension and transient discomforts. The completed work has transformed my now 70-year old teeth. Outstanding delivery of an excellent service all round.....for which I am profoundly grateful. APB

I moved to Perthshire in 2020 and remain with the practice - despite having moved every other service that I can think of. Their advice and expertise has served me extremely well for the past 30 years. Why change a good thing!

   I have been seeing Dr Chris Cairns at Inverleith Dentalcare to have my old metal fillings changed for nice new white ones. The reception team are really friendly and welcoming. Chris' patient care is second to none. From consultation to the treatment I felt everything was well explained and felt really cared for. Chris genuinely is so gentle. I am so happy with the work done and would highly recommend Chris and the practice.
