“Oh my goodness!!! This was such an amazing spa!! We've been to many and One Spa is definitely at the top of my list. After traveling Ireland and the UK, we thought it would be nice to spend the last day of our trip at the Spa to relax and rejuvenate. My husband and I chose the "Signature at One" package that included 1 hour and 50 minute treatment (body scrub, facial and massage). It also included 3 hours of their Thermal Spa experience. It was absolutely amazing and I recommend everyone experience it!”

“I joined the Joint Pain programme 6 months ago and found it very beneficial. All staff were extremely helpful. The class leader was very patient and pleasant, the physiotherapist was excellent and I appreciated the fact that he accompanied me to the gym, giving reassurance that I was doing things that would not be harmful. I found the cafe very convenient and reasonably priced. The relaxed, friendly atmosphere with Freddie and all those on duty made the whole exercise experience a pleasure and one to be continued.”

“The Art and Spirituality Centre is a wonderful space to hold classes and workshops. I have hosted several sessions in the centre and it is always a pleasure to teach there. Giada, the owner, is very welcoming and friendly she is always happy to help with any questions that I have had. The space is very spacious and adaptable for all types of classes and events. Its location is accessible to get to from different areas across the city. As well as being an accessible location, it is accessible for those with disabilities as it's entrance is on street level and the centre is across one floor. I would highly recommend visiting the centre for classes and to hire for your events.”

“I went in for the skin consultation. One of the staff named Beth guided me through this. She was kind, polite and friendly. I explained my concerns and got suggestion what to do and not. Also did my first hydra facial which was very relaxing. The ambience of the place was very calm. She suggested me some of the treatment in future which would be beneficial for me. “Great place to swim and workout while visiting Edinburgh if you’re staying close enough - it’s walkable from my place in Stockbridge, but there’s also plenty of parking. They are offering a great summer price special. Matthew at the front was super helpful getting me signed up and oriented. All of the staff have been very friendly. The gym is well equipped, very clean, and not too busy during the day. Plenty of lane space in the pool for laps. The water is too warm for a serious swim workout, but this is usually the case for multipurpose aquatic facilities.”

“This place is an oasis of calm even when the rest of the city is busy! It's a members only club, and there is sometimes a wait for membership - I had to wait about 6 months, but it was worth it. The pool is often very quiet, with only one or two other people in it - I've had it to myself occasionally! There is a steam room, sauna, and hot pool by the pool, as well as a fully kitted out gym upstairs. The staff are friendly, as are the other members. One of the unique features of this place is that when you join, you get a small locker where you can keep your swimwear. Tag your swimwear with your locker number and you can actually chuck it into the laundry baskets with the towels and the staff will wash and dry it for you overnight, and leave it back in your locker. This means that I can go straight from work, for example, to the club without having to go home to pick up my swimwear. Very convenient!”

“Very nice, clean, modern leisure clean that’s part of the golf complex. Good sized sauna and steam room. The pool is really warm too. Can be busy just after school time but there are adults only times too. Friendly staff too”

“Very friendly and helpful staff, we came on holiday to the area and used the swimming facilities, prices reasonable, facilities clean and staff very polite and helpful, the lifeguard gave the kids floats, goggles and toys, the ladies at reception were super helpful and even ordered a taxi for us, when we struggled. The Costa coffee is reasonable amd the staff were polite”

“Great gym with loads of equipment & plenty of space. Cafe on site & plenty of parking. Changing rooms are good, but a little difficult to find if you don't know where they are, signage isn't great, but overall a great gym”

“Been using Albavet since I moved to Dunfermline 3 years ago and can't fault them, great friendly service for all our cats at reasonable prices. Whether it's all the staff gushing over how cute your ginger kitten is (and how much they've enjoyed getting cuddles off him whilst he's been in!) or just sending a card when one of our cats has died (even once when we didn't get the chance to take them to the vet and just had to tell them over the phone after the fact) Albavet always seem to add that extra personal touch that is so appreciated. “Really relaxing health club Joined 3 months ago and I've not a bad word to say about this place, perhaps the showers could be a bit better though. The pool is warm and the gym is small but cosy, its never got more than 3 or 4 people in it which is great to have a quiet gym. Staff are extremely friendly and they offer really nice cheap cups of tea and coffee.”
