   I ordered food using Just eat App. It was ordered at 19:15. and I was given a delivery time of 19:55. - 20:15. When the food did not arrive and I enquired about it I was given a new delivery time of 20:45, again the food did not arrive on time and was finally delivered at 21:00 cold and inedible. I had special Singapore noodles which were the worst I have ever had with very little or none of the other ingredients, DISGUSTING. When I asked for a refund their response was “sorry your delivery was late, hope you enjoyed your food “ TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. There are far superior Chinese restaurants in Edinburgh. DO NOT USE THIS ONE.

   Ordered a portion of rice, plain noodles, chips and a chow mein and gave a time for delivery when asked by the shop!! Didn't arrive at the selected time, instead it took 2 hours to arrive!! Called the shop only for them to blame their drivers!! A meal can only be delivered if you make it on time but real nice of them to blame their hired staff!! Would avoid at all costs unless your up for wasting away and then receiving a mediocre meal and absolutly zero customer service!!

   The worst Chinese in Edinburgh. within 10 mins said its on its way. 2345-0005...dead on 0005...no delivery and said delivery done and after enjoy your food!!!!!!! went to the door and outside and no food......called the shop and no answer!! they are less than 20 mins from me....either sack your staff or drivers!! the driver must of took the food home...classic driver!...good luck with business, you are a joke....

   Ordered food for me and my flat, first time having Chinese in Edinburgh. arrived we all noticed hair in our portions. Phoned up and they denied that the hair could be from their chefs. ??? Brutal wouldn’t order from here

   DISGUTING CUSTOMER SERVICE .Never had a problem with the phone operator all the years used treasure cottage until recently as the new guy doesn't have a clue.. many orders coming wrong past few weeks and last night phoned to have me 2 wrong items replaced . To be told I thought u said somthing els and when informed that was not the case I was then told how am I suppose to remember everyone's orders... that is his job take orders ? Disgusted in the serves I was met with last by the phone handler and he was aware from previous orders that I did not order the items sent .along with waiting over a hour for wrong food and met with cheek . Not one apology and told they send it I pay . 50 pound order 10percent wrong and had to go in bin . Horrendous customer service

   Treasure Cottage is one of the best Chinese Takeaways in West Edinburgh City. The food is super tasty, the portion sizes are generous, the prices are reasonable, every order has been fantastic! I love that you have the option to have wet or dry food, some places don't offer that. The sweet and sour sauce is a bit too sweet and artificial, it would be nice to have a homemade one with white onions in it as it's very chemically. The Satay sauce could be a bit thicker too, just my opinion/suggestion. Apart from that we always have a great takeaway from here and we would highly recommend! Delivery times are usually around 60-90 minutes so best to order early but obviously it's changes depending on where you live etc.
