1. As Good As it Gets ★☆☆☆☆

   Disgraceful. Don't waste your time or money. Small menu and they had no pasta i options in stock. We only received half of our drinks order, I had to go chasing them for the rest. Hot Dog buns were all semi-stale, certainly not fresh. Far too much sauce and weird mustard mayo poured over the whole bun, making it incredibly difficult and messy to eat without it going all over your face. Fries portion size were big, but all of our fries were cold upon arrival. It was already overpriced, but now considering the poor quality it's extremely overpriced. We ended up leaving half of our food. £60+ for that rubbish was painful.

   We were taken to our table and it was explained we could either order at the table using the QR code or go up to the counter and order there. I went up to the counter. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and a hot dog with juice and a latte. The pizza was ok, nothing special the hot dog sausage was more like a Cumberland sausage than a hot dog sausage but again was ok. The star rating of this review would of been higher but the quality of the food did not match the price, far too expensive even for a zoo. The servers were polite and well presented. The toilets were clean and tidy.

   For a zoo restaurant it was okay, but nothing more. The pizza was small, the salad felt a bit off with an unpleasant dressing, and the hotdog was just standard. Prices were on the higher side. With goodwill, a 3/5.

   Tasty food but not a lot of healthy choices. Prices were high. I didn't feel too bad about the money though and it is for the zoo. Staff were very helpful and kind.

   Had snacks for our visit to the zoo but all the hills burnt off our energy and we decided this was the better restaurant for us to eat at and rest. The restaurant was very busy but they managed to find us a table. The NGCI selection was limited so I settled on pulled pork loaded fries and a tea. Unfortunately you are required to log on to an unsecure WiFi connection to order and I found it very difficult and got a bit agitated. A wonderful lady picked up on this and offered to help. She asked her supervisor to take the order and this was done quickly and without embarrassment. My sister ordered her food and drinks at the same time. The food and drinks came to us quickly. The portions didn't look big but we soon discovered we could have shared a portion as it was generous. Much gratitude to Hanna for your assistance, smiles and positivity throughout our dining experience. Hannah is a huge credit to the team. 1 star lost for the ordering system.

   Absolutely shocking... Service abysmal, food even worse!! Burgers are not grilled they are obviously cooked in an oven and hit held ready for service, which I would understand in a fast food establishment..... but this was anything but fast, we had a 25 min eta upon ordering and still had to wait an extra 25 mins past this eta. Disappointed is not the word...... none of the dashes that have cheese on top were put under a grill to melt the cheese so you just ended up with a portion of Grated cheese on ur chips or Nachos For the price I would expect better!

   Overall rating poorly. Long waiting time, chips ok, but the toppings were raw: fresh jalapeno, fresh bacon and cheese. It would be much better to fry the bacon and put it with chips and cheese into the oven for a while, right? When I saw a waitress combing her hair with her hand over the plates (luckily not mine) I wanted to leave. And the drink according to the menu should be 500 ml and you get a 330 ml can. Such a bit of cheating isn't it? Sorry, I will not back again

   Nice stop during a visit to Edinburgh Zoo. Orders arrived quickly, and hot chocolate was nice! Although it would've been nice for the cheese to have been melted on the cheesy chips.
