   We stayed in Lime which is a cosy wee cottage in a stunning location. It had everything we needed for our visit, with a very comfy sofa! The grounds of the estate are beautiful and great for walking the dog. A car is essential to stay here, but it is very easy to get to Edinburgh, Peebles and all the attractions in the borders. The owner Henrietta is really friendly and helpful.

   This was a wonderful 2 bedroom cottage, with a log fire in the grounds of a manor house. The cottage is about 30 mins drive from Edinburgh making it well positioned for exploring Scotland.

   Great location grounds were amazing for walks. We went in winter and got some great snow. House was lovely had everything you need for a Scottish stay warm fire and cosy room. So quiet out there and lovely views. Easy access to gorebridge with a train station Into Edinburgh with trains every hour. Shops are just 5 mins away.
