Honestly, this was a pretty confusing experience. I left my details because I saw an ad for a 3-month trial, that was the whole reason I was interested. Two days later, when someone got in touch, I was told there isn’t actually a 3-month trial. Instead, I was quoted almost £200 per month for the first three months, and only slightly cheaper after that. That really surprised me. It’s already a very expensive membership, and being asked to pay that much without being able to try it at all just doesn’t sit right with me. I also had to select a location when filling out the form. If the trial doesn’t apply to certain locations, that should be made clear upfront. Otherwise, it feels a bit misleading. The whole process just felt messy and inconsistent. Overall, it’s very expensive and the information didn’t line up with what was advertised. I’m not sure it’s worth it, and I don’t think I’ll be joining.

Ignore most of the 5 star reviews - the staff ask you to leave a positive review at the end of a successful sales meeting. Avoid this gym like the plague - not only is it absolutely rammed pretty much throughout the day, as the business has clearly oversubscribed the gym, but they will get you to sign up to a 12 month contract before increasing the prices midway through the term - leaving you no option but to continue paying the ridiculous fees for a crammed gym. The facilities are nice, but you wont get a chance to use them as it’s so busy all the time. I’ve been trying to join a tennis class for the past four months but have found it fully booked weeks in advance every time. Additionally, if you try to make a complaint about the unfair contract terms & conditions you’ll essentially be told tough luck. Avoid at all costs - much better gyms in Glasgow for far better prices.

Pretty standard David Lloyd offering so all felt very familiar. The staff were particularly friendly and helpful. What sets this one apart though is the sports shop by the entrance. They had a fantastic range of tennis racquets and other sports equipment. They even offer an on-site restringing service.

The gym itself looks great, but the pricing for newcomers is really unfair. For example, if I had joined 5+ years ago I’d be paying around £80/month. As a new member today, I’m quoted £130–£150/month for the same facilities. That’s nearly double the price — how is this justifiable? I’m genuinely interested in joining and happy to sign up today, but only if the membership is closer to the loyalty rate that long-term members enjoy (£80–£90). Otherwise, I’ll have to consider other gyms that offer fairer and more transparent pricing.

Met with Sarah and had a full tour of the facility. She was very knowledgable, helpful and friendly. She answered all my questions and made me feel welcome at the club. Introduced me to Julie just before an aqua class was starting and she made me feel welcome too. Have now joined and signing up for aqua class later on this week. Thank you Sarah.

AVOID THIS PLACE - 1 star is generous. Have been a Platinum for over two years now and that time has been filled with poor standards, lack of investment in the club and false promises and excuses from General Managers and Regional Manager. In particular order here are some of the issues you should expect to face all of which are not one off instances:- Towels - there has been numerous occasions towels have not been available. Restaurant closing early or no cooked food available due to staff shortages. issues with hot water. no drinking water available in gym as dispensers not working. buisness hub leak still not fixed. outdoor pool shut due to no either issues or no life guard available. Cleanliness is appalling Steam room, sauna , plunge pool spa, regularly closed due to issues Celsius Spa I will attach the pictures which says it all!!

Signed up for a 2 week trial offer - then I went down with a virus. Called them many times to ask if I could move the dates - but got no reply - then sent a message on their website asking the same and still no response. Finally received a message from them asking how much I'd enjoyed the trial and did I want to take out a membership. Still haven't set foot in the place - pretty unlikely that I ever will now! Despite a reply on here from the owner saying they would be in touch - 2 weeks on, and I've still not heard from back them!

I've been using the club for few weeks now.I am utterly disappointed with the service provided.lost for word.Let me start with the shower. The shower switch buttons are all broken partially and the showers smells of body odour. The changing room is disgusting as the floor really dirty.I have not seen the house keeper in the changing room.Yesterday showers were not working had to have cold shower in this weather. This morning called they said the sauna is not working on pool side and the receptionist advice me to upgrade to Celsius spa membership to use alternative sauna upstairs.I have used various david lyds centres around the country and i believe this one is the worse. Especially with the price tag its definitely not worth the visit.Soon I will be moving on.Please please avoid

Such poor service and facilities for £160 a month. Seriously avoid this place and save yourself the hassle. Food at the restaurant is either terrible or it’s closed completely, high turnover of crèche staff, broken tiles and filters in the pools that will tear your swimming clothes, showers that are broken or have no hot water, dirty premises, no activities for younger children and no communication from management despite raising issues since may. Even trying to cancel the membership has been difficult, with emails, calls and messages on the app going unanswered and even a visit in person leaving me no further forward. Seriously, avoid this place.

Was informed on joining that the outdoor pool was year round - a key selling point for us. Very disappointing that mid-membership it has been closed until April, as well as the fees going up. A shame, because it's a nice club with friendly staff.
