I book the pantomime here every single year with my grandkids, and we have loved every single visit. Great cafe to unwind in with lots to choose from. The seats are comfy in the theatre with plenty of leg room and the pantomimes are brilliant with amazing performances from all.

First time watching a show from the stalls (front row) and loved it. Arrived early to enjoy some drinks before the show. Plenty of seating and good choice of food and drinks. Intend to visit during the day time to enjoy the views over the Clyde.

Having never been before I really enjoyed the experience. The centre was easy to find and surrounded with plentiful free street parking. Inside the attractive building was well laid out, and had a very nice bar restaurant with reasonably priced drinks. The auditorium was comfortable and cosy. The real stand-outs for me however, were the staff, who were all very helpful and friendly. Overall, a great wee theatre.

Nice coffee and delicious toastie in the cafe bar here. Easy free parking right outside. Friendly helpful staff. It’s also a Theatre/Arts Centre, and if you watch Annika, it’s the Police Station in that TV series.

Brilliant night last night at Beacon Arts centre in Greenock where we saw 'Oh What A Night!' We took a chance and travelled from Motherwell to give the theatre a go. We were a bit late in booking our tickets and ended up with upper circle centre seats. Despite saying there was restricted viewing, we found it an excellent view. The theatre hosts around 500 or so, so it's not that far from these seats to the stage no matter where you are seated and we absolutely loved the show and the seating quality and comfort. Easy access to the venue with ramps for anyone with mobility issues. The lift does only go up to the lower circle , therefore has maybe a dozen stairs to climb to upper circle with good hand rails to help. Leg room is ok, seats are very decent and roomy. Staff were welcoming and willing to answer any questions we had. Nice cafe/bar looking onto the waterside. Very clean accessible toilets on ground and first floor. Lots of beautiful and interesting artworks hanging around the venue from many artists, many of which can be purchased. Will most definitely be back to the venue at some point in the future.

Great facility, with excellent shows. We'll worth going and supporting this venue to ensure it keeps going. The staff were very welcoming & helpful too. Only down side is that parking at the venue is a bit tight.

Writing on behalf of a bereaved family that recently hired a room for a funeral tea. The room was really nice as were the lovely staff we dealt with on the phone at the Beacon but unfortunately cannot say the same for the service from what we were told was from outside caterers. All that was in the room when funeral party arrived was a flask of tea & coffee. We all had a cuppa before one plate of sandwiches arrived and placed on the self service table, no plates or napkins to put them on until about 10 minutes later another plate of sandwiches and sausage rolls arrived with plates and napkins. Some cakes also appeared which looked like they had been flung onto boards. The cold food could should have been laid out covered, ready for people arriving. The food itself was okay but presentation and service left a lot to be desired. I am sorry to say I would not recommend the Beacon for this service. For the price charged for catering at £11.50 per head we could have got better service in a cafe! Just as well it was only for 25 people and not 100. Sorry about the poor review as nothing against the venue but the catering situation needs improving.
